You know, I’ve never heard that in my entire life, until I posted that picture here and somewhere else yesterday. Several people said it. I guess I do!

You had to ask.

For the two measley hours I was scheduled at the second store, I got a call from Brian saying he was going to the e/r. (He’s been taking his dad to the hospital and doctors almost every day lately - which is a high risk ting to do - but his dad is not doing well.

Then he said he just dropped his dad off. What? He was going to the e/r himself. He was scared and had a pain in his side since the night before that had gotten worse, and he got sick while out with his dad.

I could not leave my store. I could not even stay on the phone because I had a customer trying to sell me a collection who had already heard me cursing out the florist when he walked in lol. I could not have gone to the hospital, anyway, they make you wait outside because of Covid-19.

Yesterday from 10am to 1pm was nuts!

Turned out to be my old nemesis: kidney stones, both kidneys.

But he couldn’t keep anything down last night. I got his prescriptions, keeping an eye on him. The more he sleeps, the better.

And I have an appointment with a therapist at 10am!

Side note: they gave him a COVID test and it was negative.

Best wishes to Brian. I hope the awful kidney stones pass soon. Everyone I know who has had those, said that they're painful. :( Well, I'm glad that he saw a doctor, got some medicine, and also tested negative for COVID-19. Hope he gets some good sleep tonight, as that will help a bit.

You take care of yourself, too. (If I went through what you have recently, I'd probably be bouncing off walls in a rubber room.)

I spent part of the morning tearing apart my house looking for canning jars. I mean up in the attic, out in the garage and even in the boys closets then I remembered due to the current situation I never got any of the jars back from what was given out at Christmas:banghead::banghead::banghead: What is inside the jar is a gift, the jar itself is a loaner:D Guess I'm going to have to pick up several dozen jars this week:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

I wish you were closer, I'd give you some.... well, I would expect a couple to come back to me filled as payment ;)

Going to be 90 degree for 4 days next week and the governor reduced state beach parking to 25%. Just parking, doesn't say anything about parking on the side of the road and going to the beach or going to a town beach.

According to AccuWeather, we've had 2 days past 90 degrees so far this year.

Kidney stones ouch. Fun story, dh calls to me as he is walking downstairs and says guess what with a grin on his face. He puts out his hand and there is an itty bitty stone in it. Said I just peed out a kidney stone. First thought was cool because I had never seen one, and second one was did it hurt. He said he didn't know why it was hurting while he went so he pushed hard and out came the stone. He knew he still had one since he had a couple a few years back that he passed. They told him that there was still one left. Guess it finally decided to leave his body.

Hope B will be ok, and that the therapy appointment went well.
My first one was so big that they had to break it up just to get to it. They presented me with a little plastic container with it, looking like a gravel driveway. They said that they thought I might like to keep it as a souvenir. If I had a fireplace with a mantle to display it on I might have taken it. Instead I passed (pun intended) on the offer.

@MySmallWorldof4 , we are in Uniontown PA. My guess from your previous posts is that we are within an hour or so from you? If "yes" .....fear not, we are not hoping to meet up😉....we are gonna spend the night...then go see Ohiopyle State Park's waterfalls in the early afternoon tomorrow...then return to NJ to sleep in our own beds. This was our dinner at Fiesta Azteca....even at 25% allowed capacity we were able to be seated.20200716_184025.jpg

Nope I am South Central. Had to look on a map where Uniontown is. It is probably 3 hours from me. Food looks awesome.

The entire state of PA is at 25% indoor capacity?
Yep (I'm keeping an eye on PA as well seeing as how we're going to be in Hershey most weekends).

Still at 50% capacity indoor here in Maryland and outdoor dining is open. PA is more strict than MD at the moment, though MD's orders (I read through both...can you tell I was raised by a lawyer?) are more detailed.

Youre still taking me to Hershey, right? 😂

Temps on Monday at 12:26p and 5:26p...

I missed a heat-of-the-day reading ‘cause I got distracted by a work deadline ;), but, Camp Mabry in Austin proper broke a record at 108. It was probably right around that in our hood.
It got up to 103 yesterday, and Tues. and Wed. we’re both well over 100. Today they only predicted 99, but, it got up to at least 100 in our hood, as that reading is past the heat-of-the-day from 4:45p...!!!!!;):)

Happy it is not where I live. It is going to be 83 degrees on Monday where I live:D.

The high for this year so far is 93 degrees. I am no different than my parents and my younger brother. Our bodies don't like 90 degrees or higher unless there is a breeze.

One of the reason the WDW trip is not happening this is due Disney's policies make it hard for people to do an afternoon break and go back into the theme park. Past August-September trips, I take afternoon breaks at hotel before going back to the parks.
