wait.. again?

EDIT:
Oh, as fellow poster trr1 just shared with me, apparently after the pandemic restrictions, there may still be a show that will come to Disney Springs. So, there'sl hope that not the entire Cirque organization will fold after all.

Ivory Tower Squabble EST 2011. WINDMILL SURVIVOR
I just found out a temple by me takes orders and makes a run on Tuesday. Not sure what they bring in though. I am assuming corned beef, but I am not sure if that is it, or if there is anything else.

*edit* Remember when they had an outpost at Midway? They had such good places to choose from. Now the longest line is at the dunkin'. Although, our last trip through I got a pretty good turkey sandwich at Einstein Bros.

I'm sure Manny's especially now with most of the Downtown Business District still closed they love the huge take out orders. They cater too.
But me it is always lunch and always The Ruben Corn Beef sandwich and Matzoh Soup and don't forget the Kosher Pickles.

Do not forget the random karens.. ahem.. katiebugs saying that they should ban older people from going to disney parks :p

If I was a childless millennial couple, I would bring a borrowed stroller with one of those lifelike doll babies in it. I would leave it parked in the stroller parking at attractions with the doll in it completely unattended while faking going into the queue, and I would find a good place to watch Guests reactions...!!!!!!! :joyfull::hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:

No, we know it's not a safe word, but many, including myself, don't care. I am the one that is most likely to push up daisy's if I get it, but since the only thing left in my life is my family, my children and grandchildren, so frankly I don't give a damn. If I were young and bringing it to older folks that would be a concern. However, without my family, without the contact with them, I really don't see any reason to go on and, like I am about to be told, if I wait it out it will be clear and safe to see them, but tomorrow is never promised. When we are younger we do not really consider our own mortality at all. When you get in my age bracket you no longer assume that tomorrow will be yours automatically. You live while you can and do not make any long term plans. I'm not at the age where I have to pay in advance to order a three minute egg for breakfast, but those days are closing in at warp speed and I cannot waste time being scared. I take precautions, but I do not and will not spend the time I have left to connect with them frozen in fear.

I can understand all that in your situation, and at this point in your life. I’m not sure what your family is doing regarding distancing, wearing masks, etc., but, you’ve seen what mine is doing. Ultimately, it’s none of my business, or anyone else's, unless y’alls actions affect people outside of your family in the general public.
Your family being together have every right to handle it however y’all see fit during all this.
But, keep in mind, you can also spread it to them, as well, and the outcome could be just as tragic.
My family is definitely not frozen in fear, but, we are taking what we feel are proper precautions.
As you say, YMMV...!!! ;)

There is good news for me so far. The rain/thunderstorms early today is preventing people from starting lighting up fireworks illegally in the city I live in.

The reason is called good news I have been hearing fireworks from where I live for over a month. They are going on longer than they did in the past and firework sales been at a record high according to the local media.

I've been hearing them even past 1 in the morning a couple nights ago.

These fireworks are loud and I know the city does not have festivals going on anywhere. Lakeside fireworks on the night of July 3rd are canceled and there is no park fireworks in the city I live in either.

I know a lot of place have been having deals on fireworks. Groupon evens gives out deals on fireworks with them being up to 69 percent off.

Farmers Market is open by me. I was thinking about going today, but it is raining like mad every 15 minutes, or so. It pours, it stops. And then I think that must be it. And it pours again. Oh well. Some other Friday.

Ours is usually open year ‘round here, but, we haven’t been in quite some time, not even sure how they’ve been handling all this for the last few months...?

My parents watched Princess and the Frog, said it was horrible. Saves me the time to watch it.

Well, they didn't use that word. They just said 'ehhh' when asked if they liked it.

Do you normally like everything they like and dislike everything they dislike? Like are your movie tastes the same?

I think it's one of Disney's best movies. I love the shadowman, the songs, Mama Odie, the love between Ray and Evangeline. Like I still cry at the funeral scene and A has made me watch that movie a million times. I've even (recently) watched it when she's not here.

I was always on the fence because the trailer never looked good to begin with
