Kapono is lucky.. *I* tried to take Zyrtec, and I couldn't even function.

She seems to function fine but she has always been a little trooper and she seems alert enough to bark at our neighbors after taking it! Brad has taken Zyrtec and he doesn't get sleepy from it either but other allergy meds he does. Maybe Brad is like a schnauzer or my schnauzer is like Brad!:joyfull:

@figmentfan423 , it's after 7 AM, so I figure you've probably bought out the Farmers' Market already?! :p
YUP!!!!!!!!!! Kale, chard, assorted lettuces, collards, hot house cucumbers, tomatoes and peppers, snow peas, sugar snap peas, bok choi, beets, some baby squash and a lemon grass plant. Everybody wore masks and stayed at least 6 feet apart

I'm thinking it's going to be a while before we are allowed to go to Disney. They said on the news this morning that airports are opening back up on July 1st, but that no one from the US will be allowed to fly in. (not sure if that's just to the Netherlands, or if it's Europe-wide, or what.) I guess there is no confidence in the control of the corona situation in the US, but then they also said Trump is saying the same thing about the Schengen area and he is keeping people from the Schengen area out of the US, too. So we can't travel back and forth. Our next big trip is supposed to be Yellowstone, but if we can't even get into the US, we won't be able to go there, either. I wonder how long it will be before those borders open. The border between Germany and the Netherlands opened up last week and there were a LOT of Germans on the road when we went to my in-laws' for fathers day, and I imagine there were probably a lot of Dutch people in Germany doing their shopping because it's so much cheaper there. People haven't been able to cross the border to get groceries or gas up their cars for a couple of months...I'm betting they are swamped now.

I heard it was all of Europe last night. Rightly so. We are hopeless. Maybe I should book a flight and stay before it happens.

...and we’re back to 4 days of sports per week!
Monday & Wednesday 2-3 hours of baseball each.
Tuesday & Thursday 2 hours of soccer each.

My kid is on cloud 9!!!!!!!

We’re going to the pool now for a bit, then baseball game tonight. T is starting pitcher tonight, I can’t wait to see him!!!!!!! His coach also said that he hit 2 home runs at practice on Monday.. he didn’t do that at last week’s game, but he’s determined tonight.. we’ll see. He’s 4th in batting rotation tonight, his coach said he’s counting on him for a grand slam. 😂 no pressure. 😂🤦‍♀️

Nice wide island. Question, it looks like they won't be able to put any chairs under it? Are there cabinets on the left side of the island, is that why?

Yes, whether they choose the 2'-8" wide island or the 4'-0" wide island, there will be storage accessible from both sides.
Before they remodeled the kitchen several years ago, there was a peninsula lower cabinet, with a raised bar extending into the dining room, and high upper cabinets above, extending from the wall where the full height pantry is in those drawings. But, they never had any bar stools there, just a desk that sat below the bar in the dining room. They made up for most of the storage loss from removing those cabinets by losing the natural dead corner of the lower cabinet "L" situation, and extending both the upper and lower cabinets along the sink wall to about 4" away from the dining room window. Like I'm showing in the drawing, just take away the 2'x2' full height pantry cabinet and replace it with more lower and upper cabinets extending to that point...! :)
