I'm a GM/Chevrolet gal, I got brainwashed into liking them by Disney. The old World of Motion attraction was sponsored by GM and like Test Track now there was a car showcase at the end and my dad liked cars so we always spent time looking at them. So to a kid who loved Disney I associated it as a Disney brand! My sister-in-law is an engineer and works for GM and yet I still like the brand. :hilarious:

In the early days, my Pops family was always Chevrolet, and my Moms family was always Ford.
Times have changed with my folks though, as they are now in their 80’s and on their second new Honda Pilot...!!!!! :hilarious:

Dogs go through some strange phases. Lately, Jack will make himself comfortable, sprawled out, in room doorways.

Now, other dogs may do that occasionally, but Jack has been blocking doorways (upstairs and downstairs) for about a week now. If we tell him to move, he looks at us like, "What's your problem? Step over me."

He's about 11 1/2 years old now, and acts very entitled. Perhaps his stubborn stance is the older dog's version of "get off my lawn!" :p
Maybe if you fed him properly he'd be less annoying;)

Belle's gotten into this habit of meowing pitifully when she wantd to be fed and relentlessly bothering us. I really want the behavior to stop, and ignoring it wasn't helping. So now I pick her up and kiss her a bunch of times when she does that. She's starting to figure out it doesn't get her fed. 😂

I’ve been listening to the HIStory album on my way home from work this week.. makes me a little sad for 2 reasons..

1. I remember the day this came out, can’t get over the fact that it’s been 25 years this month.. and how old that makes me. 😂

2. Why doesn’t music sound like this any more??? I’m not even talking about just the voice, it’s the layering of the sound, the quality of the sound. Better than anything we here currently.

Anyway, if you see an old white woman jamming out in her car to Stranger in Moscow or They Don’t Care About Us.. no, I’m not on my way to a protest, just enjoying a great album, great messages, and great sound.

You talked about a Trad. IRA.
Isn’t that different than the Roth IRA we were talking about...?
I'm sorry, I was talking about Trad. Ira, because to many the difference is confusing. Traditional contributions are pre-tax and Roth is after tax money so it isn't taxable nor are the earnings, but it does seem to me that there are some exception to that depending on what the withdrawal is used for. I am not versed on what those exception might be, but it is probably rare that anyone have that problem. I thought Roth's were earmarked for something specific and had to be used for that purpose. I might be wrong about that, correct me if I am. Seems to me that they once were establish to pay for a child's college expenses or etc. I am to old to have been a part of that so I never really looked into it.

So you are correct... I was talking about Trad. IRA and just saying that not all IRA's are not taxable. I know that every year I have to estimate my income and since at my age I am required to make withdrawals from my IRA I want to make sure that I am not going to have any tax liability because I don't have any tax taken out in advance.
