Target had their hand sanitizer area fully stocked today. I didn't but any because I still have large refill bottles full
The grocery store had hand sanitizer today.

We still have some thanks to my hoarding of it from the pre Covid days. :hilarious:

EDIT: Dad needed the wipes for work. They're making everyone come back to the office now that we're in phase 2 because working from home was not going well. So they needed cleaning supplies. I found antibacterial spray and wipes. We're keeping a pack of wipes and I'm getting reimbursed by the office for the cleaners and wipes the office is using. I also found nitrite gloves for them at Walgreens.

It still sounds crazy hard compared to what we do here. I mean here you do poor on the standard tests or in high school you can still go to community college and try to get it together there and move onto a University. For me who mostly gets B’s for grades that isn’t the tops, but it isn’t awful. I will probably apply to mostly State schools and a few out of State schools not thinking I will get into those. I also want to at that time of applying have some sort of idea what I’d like to do so I choose a school that has that program. As for the Youtuber thing it looks like a ton of fun, but it is a one in a trillion shot. It is the same as becoming Tik Tok famous. I consider myself a pretty good dancer, but I am not famous on Tik Tok. I can do the same dances as Charli D’ Amelio who is the same age as me and is Tik Tok famous for dancing. It is all about luck and Charli herself even said that.
I would say it's definitely harder than in the US. Well, not all the levels, but definitely the highest one. Like I said, it's basically like an AP high school. Lower levels don't take as many subjects, and what they do, they do at a more basic level. The higher the level, the more in depth they will go. But what careers you have as an option is also somewhat dependent on your level. You won't be able to get the Masters degree in engineering if you do the lowest level of school. The lower levels are more geared to trades, like hair stylist, travel agent, mechanic, etc. You probably won't need to actually know the chemical make-up of the shampoo in order to wash and cut people's hair, so you wouldn't need advanced chemistry.

But you can go to the community college and work your way up to university here if that's what you want to do. It's just that most kids who start at that level aren't really interested in going to school for that long, so they just go for a lower level degree. They settle for the associates degree rather than shooting for a masters. I think it's a good system here, though. There's no mentality of "everyone has to go to college!" They can do a tradeschool or whatever, and no one is going to waste time and money on a University degree just to go and party. Universities are definitely not party schools!

@Mr Ferret 88 , I was going to ask you last night, but forgot. Have you ever done Wasgij puzzles? What the box shows isn't what the puzzle looks like. You do the puzzle from the perspective of someone in the puzzle. We worked on one yesterday with my MIL, and it is a very challenging, but interesting concept. This is the one we did, (we're not done) and it's from the perspective of the bird with the coin in its mouth.

Never tried those. I tend towards the Japanese make Tenyo and the tiny puzzles they make.
Looks challenging though.

It is with great sadness I'm letting you know @DisneyDebNJ passed away on June 8th. She was a friend to many on this site, a wife, mother Disney nerd, Jersey girl and the one who renamed me Figgy. She is and will be missed:cry::cry::cry:

Very sorry to hear this sad news, Figgy. It's sad when someone you knows passes away, and all friends on the forum are no exception to that. She contributed a lot here as well as outside of the forums. May she RIP. :(

I was thinking about all this book selections that everyone has been giving me and I think I am gonna enjoy reading books if I don't have to write an essay or papers on them. Please don't make me write an essay or paper on the books that I read. 😂

Essay on The Tale of the Two Cities (which I read in high school, don't remember) due by Thursday :hilarious:. I might have to read it again.

I've always wondered why they make you read in English and never taught it. Like I know it's the native language but...
