OK...but my friend is working in the Nursing Home in which people have died from Covid 19. Other patients with Covid are still housed there. It is not surprising that her daughter.....well aware of her mom's daily worry, is now reconsidering her own career path as a doctor.

Yes, I got that from your last post. Are you thinking that I don't understand? It's totally understandable... these young people are seeing that being a doctor/nurse is not just a high paying glamour job right now. So it's understandable that they are reconsidering.

So I heard from my father that our work got robbed last night, a bunch of thugs attacked the dude working in the electronic section and stole a bunch of iPads. Just saying right now, I carry a knife with me to open boxes when picking orders....if someone even thinks of putting their hands on me....they're getting stabbed.
That is awful! Is the person attacked ok?

Me and my Slingshot are a hunting.

Yesterday we had about two inches of heavy snow that fell overnight. No plows or salt. It melted by noon BUT NOT BEFORE

we are anticipating 5 inches tonight and morning. Wonder if they will plow or salt this time?
Haven't seen or heard a plow, yet. The snow doesn't seem to be sticking to the pavement, but I imagine it is icy in spots.

That is so cute! Great job!!

Thanks! I have a long way to go, though. I bought letter stickers to put on the banner, Michaels gave me the wrong size. I’m at the office til 6 today, won’t be able to get the correct ones. Am now going to make the letters myself, with white card stock.. paint yellow, and then cut out and glue on.
I have 2 other signs as well, and 150 balloons to inflate. Let’s hope I complete it.
I should have made all of this earlier, but I was afraid he would see them. Really want it to be a surprise

Mine is much WORSE than that. So to update the saga -- after criss-crosssing the United States for over 7 days (last Weds.), it then went from Weds. night to upstate New York, then (yesterday) down to western MA, to (last night) down to Connecticut??!! :banghead: No, I'm not kidding. Supposedly it's en route up to my address by the end of today -- yah, I'll believe that . . .

I've come to the conclusion that Fedex likes its packages to "visit" every freaking state in the union before it actually gets delivered!!! Fedex sucks. UPS or US Mail are so much better. (Like yourself, I had no choice in shipper.)
ugh!! That’s frustrating. I have 2 more packages arriving today, via UPS.. both ordered on Monday. But the FedEx package is still showing that it’s sitting at a warehouse in Kentucky.

Hoe is UPS doing such a better job?

O.k. My do-it-yourself cut wasn't nearly as bad as a year or two ago, (when I first tried it, myself). ;)

So, the front looks o.k. now, but the back is a little uneven . . . :p

Then, hubs decided he wanted to try and cut his hair (it's not long at all, and I thought it looked fine). So he went out to buy some electric clippers from CVS. He didn't have a clue how to use them , so he ended up just shaving it all off!!!! :jawdrop: Now, he's bald, but could care less!! :banghead:

:hilarious:
My full head o' ol' gray hair is so darn long these days I wear a ball cap every day now to try and help keep it outta' my face...I'm tempted to do like your hubby, but, DWifey would not be pleased. Even though she likes my hair shorter than it is now, she definitely doesn't want me to buzz it all off...!!!!! :hilarious:

I was watching the Ellen show this afternoon, and she mentioned that one of the most common Google searches since the c. virus shutdown, are videos about how to cut your own hair at home!!! :hilarious: Guilty!

I also read yesterday, that Walmart has noticed a dramatic increase in home coloring kits -- they can hardly keep it in stock! :jawdrop: (Color is too advanced for me, as my hair is higlighted in a few colors that need a professional to do. Only if I had one color and it was dark, might I try a dark color. But with blonde and medium brown tones, the blonde in particular is tricky.) Nope. Not doing my own colors!! :p

I've NEVER even thought about goin' through a "Father of the Bride Part 2" George Banks (Steve Martin) moment with the hair color...I've been gray so darn long nobody would recognize my ol' sorry a$$…!!!!! :hilarious:
