I'm not bored at all...but then, I still have to go to work as usually. My routine hasn't really changed except having the rest of the family at home to work around with laundry, cooking, etc. Plus, I'm trying to do my taxes, but because I live in a foreign country, I have to fill out an FBAR to report foreign earnings, and it's an online thing. I've got the form filled out, but I have to sign it electronically and then save it and send it, but when I hit the "save" button, all it does is give me a loading window, but it never finishes loading. It's so frustrating, and I have to say I think it's pretty bogus that I still have to file taxes in the US when I haven't lived there in nearly 20 years! I live here, I work here....why do I have to report my income from HERE to the US government? That money is already taxed and is exempt from US taxation anyway. I get having to file my US bank accounts and dividends, but why my foreign income?

O.k. Further to my idiot test here, those poles look far away from the teller window. Do those poles have speakers in them as well (not the actual tube, but the pole)? Why can't people just drive up to the side of the bank like I did today?

The big poles are tubes and there is a container that you put your banking in and then put it in the tube, push a button and whoosh. The container travels to the tube into the bank. Then they do the reverse to get it back to you. It is a pneumatic tube system.

Anyone else noticed the lack of April Fool's Day jokes from various companies this year? Guessing it's because of current circumstances. The only one I noticed was the Seinfeld Facebook page (and actually what they did is pretty hilarious).

Yeah, I only noticed one from a Disney blog. That's fine, I'm not a big fan of April Fool's day stuff.

so far online games are indeed making jokes or making in game changes as april's.
But yeah not many from the usual big companies.

Some of it is funny. Google a couple of years ago added Pacman to Google Maps. Netflix had some of their stars do videos where if you watched for too long, they'd suggest you do something else, like call your mother, take a shower, etc.

There's this gem from several years ago...

Seinfeld changed their profile picture and has been posting about their main villain, Newman, instead of their usual stuff. It's actually pretty funny. That's the only one I've seen.

The Seinfeld Twitter page did the same thing. Speaking of Aprils Fools jokes.....my store manager and head of HR called an emergency huddle today at work. Told us they were leaving our store to go assist another store in PA full time on friday. Had everyone believing it and a few co-workers got upset until HR reminded us what day it was....

My job sent out an email this morning with ridiculous news pieces that we know aren't right, like that our website is #2 in the world behind Amazon...yeah right.

I've been a little cranky because our fiscal year just ended and I've been completely swamped. I was not amused; I thought it was just stupid.
