Thank you. I know I've often posted photos of what my wife has prepared. Last night my wife expressed her frustration w/ our daughter because our DD spent the entire night in her room talking to her boyfriend for 2.5 hours. My wife had asked her to join us for a family movie, but DD replied: "No thanks...I'm ok". That is just a typical night at our house. DD seems to treat us like a hotel, she just comes down when dinner is ready...and we have to call her. She just appears for food that is lovingly prepared....but DD doesn't say thank you...or realize how much effort goes into it night after night.
When I quietly tell her (when my wife is not around)....DD seems unimpressed.
Our frustration w/ this 18 year old is super high right now

Ive done this twice now. Senior year before going away to college is bittersweet. Letting go as a parent can be difficult. Guilting always backfires.
Pat yourselves on the back for a job well done and be proud that she is now a young woman ready to explore the world on her own.

Well I held on for 90. DH said we’re not doing anything else so just hold.
Got everything moved to Sept 18-26 for our anniversary on the 20th!! Plus free quick dining plan!!! We are so excited!!

She is not on.a team yet at the new gym. They already had teams. They have tryouts in May. Who knows what will be happening now as “social distancing” was just extended to April 30. Not happy.

As far as I'm concerned NEVER! but we have a ferret that seems to enjoy it and seeing he's caged we want him well behaved and occupied
