Now my mom just said that she doesn’t think they can change it because they paid in full at time of booking, back in October or whenever that was. They can still cancel the DDP until Check in though, right?

This before they installed a fountain under and around the cauldron. These photos don't show you the metal fence with barbed wire they had installed to keep people out of the area, out of fear of protestors/vandals.

The love is for the beautiful pictures. Sad about the need to worry about vandalism.

It is faint through the window @dryerlintfan bit you can see how pretty at least Cinderella is toward the bottom of the comforter. The sheets are bolder colors. The set is beautiful and I’m not a Princess kinda girl

I think the Olympics are always quite divisive for the host country, so people of course protested and were against the games and spending money on them. The cauldron was definitely a high target during that 2 weeks, which the fence made sure nothing bad happened.

She actually had tickets to the US hockey games. She gave them away and got ice dancing and speed skating tickets instead. I was bored by the ice dancing, and freezing during the speed skating. (It was outdoors.). I wasn’t a hockey fan at the time; I became one a few years later. Now I wish I would have been one then for to have seen those games, wow. One of my favorite movies now is Miracle.
