Tonight I enjoyed some Chicken Gnocchi. What are any of my forum friends eating tonight?View attachment 445586
just ate reheated pizza from my favorite pizzeria.
Tomorrow I hope to get some nice pasta for my birthday party (very well in advance, as my bday is in the 9th)
But the dates wont match as my brother goes elsewhere by that date and my mom will leave for grandmah business same week.

I miss the days when dh was an employee and we could just file and wait for a refund. This time of year is always a hassle when you own your own business. He needs an accountant to do the taxes, and of course we always owe and have to pay double because we need to pay what we owe and then pay first quarter taxes at the same time. 🤮

Speaking of owning your own business, where is our very own Tony?

That looks yummy! We had herb marinated chicken in the air fryer with a side of cheetos. My husband was in charge of the meal tonight and that's what he put together. Oh he had a side of pickles and I had some cottage cheese.

Dear Brad.... cheetos are not a side unless your main is sloppy joes or hamburgers/hotdogs!

I made Fettucini Alfredo in the Instant Pot for dinner last night.

My son got the wife an Instant pot for Christmas and she loves it. I watched her cut up all the stuff for the clam chowder and I went out into the garage came back a little while later and the soup was done. I asked doesn't have to simmer all day. She replied " not with my Instant Pot"

I use the slow cooker setting the most in the Instant Pot. The pressure cooker makes great macorni and cheese though.

I disagree. Brad was right -- Cheetos are a side!! :joyfull: (And just for the record: Stuffing, in a turkey dinner, is a side vegetable as well.) :p

Jury is still out on this thing. I fight with mine (usually, the battle is over the extended time it takes to come to pressure, and then add in also, the de-pressure time as well).

So far, I just prefer the easier crock-pot (slow cooker) that I've had for years.
