Dh was very helpful organizing what is already bought and put away for Christmas and we now have a rather short list of items left to buy and most of them are clothing and stocking stuffers:inlove: All the canned goods are canned and I still have a few quick things to sew up but all in all not too shabby considering I spent 2 months on the road this summer.
I gave them a short list of items and they still haven't figured it out. I'll either have to go shopping with dh or print out pics

Umm ... did you say you've done Christmas shopping already?! :jawdrop:

I've done quite a bit of Christmas shopping already... in fact, giving DH one of his presents today, because it's a Holiday sweatshirt, and I let him wear those from Nov 1, to Jan 1. (Last year he told me he would quit wearing his other one when it stopped snowing... . it was April!)

Don’t worry, me either!!!

I asked T this morning.. he wants an iPhone Pro (not happening), a PlayStation (not happening), a new bike (he does need this), a ninja warrior course, weights, and anything else to make him “have a 6 pack, better agility, and big muscles” :hilarious:

eta- one of those items is a parachute that they use in soccer training.. I am thinking about getting one for each of us and we can race in the backyard.. it would be good for me too. I’d love to make a legit home gym., all I have is some equipment in the basement, but not a specified room or well planned out arrangement, T is not allowed to use the weight bench. Maybe Santa will build is a workout room with all new equipment for box jumps, agility ladder, rope etc.. maybe..

Oh good lord ... you need to buy some lottery tickets, and pray you hit the "big one" to cover the cost of his gift list! :hilarious:

He is not allowed to have a phone until he’s at least 10, I wanted to hold off longer, but at this point with all of his sports it may be useful., it won’t be an iPhone pro 🤣.. he’ll be lucky if he gets a flip phone for his 10th bday. 🤣

Could be... and mostly it's just held at churches, and there are A LOT of churches here in the midwest!

True! Although in my area the public elementary schools have started hosting them as well. I don’t know if they include raffles, etc.. ours is $20 per family and includes grilled items, non-alcoholic beverages, a movie, and 2 raffle tickets.. additional raffle tickets can be purchased, and we all bring a side or dessert to share. Adults bring adult beverages for themselves, but we also do a hot chocolate for everyone, spiked with Baileys for the adults.

Basically your typical Catholic get together of gambling and drinking. 🤣

Oh my. Havin’ a really difficult time keepin’ up with all you nice folk all over the site lately.
My apologies.
I’ll try to do a bit of ketchup, but, now that I’ve started an “official” TR and I’m doing all this on my iPhone at a turtles pace, I may get worse with responding...or maybe that’s better for many...either way, molasses in the winter and all...!!!!! :hilarious:
