Our Sunday I wanted to check out on of the Hy-eve grocery stores that had a Basin section. And I got myself some Basin Products! It is easy to get to too. Thought @figmentfan423 and @Gabe1 would like to see the Basin stuff.

Then we had a greasy spoon type breakfast before spending some time at the free Zoo in St Paul.

Pluto is free and has a cooking channel or 2, a lot of the shows a year or 2 old are on youtube and sometimes they release newer ones. So does Test Kitchen Pluto also has quite a bit of live news, most of the cable news stations but not all and a few that aren't on cable. I also put Pluto on for music (loads of different choices) because my radio reception is shakey up here

Thanks, I'll have to check that out!

Yikes! Our theater has a movie club thing. Basically, you get one ticket a month for free, and you get 20% off concessions. You can get extra tickets for $8.99, no online fees. If you don't use it, it rolls over. It's $8.99 a month. I see enough movies that it's well worth it.

Well, I haven't been in like three months, so I had enough credits to get tickets for both of us, and I decided to upgrade for their XD version (basically just better sound and quality; but mostly because it was at the time I wanted). It was $6 for both of us.

He probably will thank me at some point. It will probably be after we see it. Could be a week afterward. We'll see.
I don't dare mention what my dh pays for first viewing time tickets at work:angelic:

Speaking of cutting the cord and TV's and such. This week I cleaned out a corner in my bedroom, bought a little stand, and put up a TV and set up a firestick that have been waiting probably about a year for me to do something with them. I also ordered an over the air antenna for $10 to get the local channels. After several tries of moving the rabbit ears around and scan (and move, and scan) I was able to dial in a 3 big networks ABC, NBC, CBS, and PBS. So now I have a tv in my room for the nights hubby is off playing D&D. I prefer being upstairs when he's gone. Instead of downstairs all alone in the living room.

Ours are also somewhat within that range. We have some gas stations across the street from one another, and both are posting different prices. I dunno -- competition? Supply and demand?

I recall (some time ago) @Goofyernmost had some sort of good explanation about this pricing phenomenon. Perhaps he'll weigh in again, as I forget the specifics he shared.
Only three things that cause that variation: Competition, Local Taxes or Greed, sometimes all three at once. The general prices are greatly influenced by state tax on gas and the ever fluctuating cost per barrel. Right now it is between $2.37 and $2.47 here. It is usually 10 to 20 cents cheaper right next door in S. Carolina. That one is due to lower state tax. The difference between states can also be aligned with the cost of transporting the stuff from the refineries.
