I sound like a total old person, but kids today really don’t have the best music options. I think we were lucky to have so many great artists/music during our lifetimes.

I can't say you are wrong. I know today's country music is worse than it was in back in the 1980s and 1990s.

My dad did introduce me to some albums back in the 1990s to some music he listened to in the 1960s/ 1970s such as Boston, Meat Loaf, bread, Iron Butterfly, Neil Diamond, Eagles, Heart,Journey. My dad had my younger brother and I listen to the Fleetwood Mac Album Rumours also. I'm a bit surprised he didn't introduce us to Chicago since he played that music in his car back in the 1970s including the song 25 or 6 to 4.

When I mentioned Heart, I'm referring the 1970's version of the band.
