I don't care how you spelled it. MickeyLuvr'e mentioned The Bwk could have something else savory and showy.

I don't care how anyone spells it as a post.

Of all things other country related don't get why is always with France that names of things are changed or modified as if it's too complex for guests to pronounce it, however other countries like Mexico, Norway, Germany is not. I know other people are acustomed to pronounce crepe as crape they might as well change the signs too if they want to change and modify another countries official title of their stuff elsewhere. Epcot is suppose to keep Pain au Chocolat to stay true to the experience. Let's change enchilada but they won't because for that everyone's accustomed to how it's pronounced unedited.
Off-topic but a bit of an intersting sidebar....

French pronunciation is a bit tougher for English speakers than some of the other languages you listed. On the other hand, plenty of Spanish words get mangled.

Alas, everyone's hearing degrades a bit as we age. Our brains compensate by filling in small gaps and looking for familiar patterns. We tend to 'hear' the sounds we are used to hearing. And that trend begins in childhood. By age 2, dialects are often hard-wired.

This is a little tough to explain in writing, but just as we look for visual patterns that have meaning to us, we also 'hear' patterns that are familiar to us. Older adults actually have an easier time reading sloppy handwriting/poor spelling than younger readers do, because we learn to recognize patterns. but the older we get, the harder it is to learn a new language.

I’ve lived at the Jersey shore for 30+ years and the boardwalk/resort towns I’ve been to don’t have Kilwin’s nor do they have crape CS type establishments…I’m sure it’s a great place…the background of the BW resort is that it’s modeled after the boardwalks of New Jersey, Atlantic City, et.al. I just want that tradition to continue…overpriced cakes crepe(s) & corn dogs don’t fit that vibe…
I just googled Kilwin’s…if it’s the “chain” from Long Island, YES, they would fit right in with the Jersey boardwalk vibe…
That's fair.
My suggestion was meant to suggest the type of food that Disney might wish to add, rather than any specific options I listed.

Kilwin's came to mind because they prepare sweets in an open kitchen that people can see as they walk down the boardwalk/sidewalk. A NJ chain like The Original Fudge Kitchen is the same style, but OFK might not be familiar to everyone reading this forum.

Whatever Disney adds to the BWK, it will do better if it can draw passerby. Some type of fun-to-watch food prep, especially one that smells great.

They don't say 'beach boardwalk', but pull noodles come to mind as that type of food. Even when if aren't hungry, it is fun to watch pull noodles being stretched.

Pull noodles set up with a spot in WS? Perfect and a big attention getter…

I took three years of French. In third year, we had to only speak French. That was pretty tough. Then, I took a year of Spanish. Because they are both romance languages and similar, I often would confuse my French and Spanish. My Spanish teacher was actually from Spain.

Remember it's an idealized representation of places, not an exact copy. Just search "seedy new jersey boardwalk establishments" to see what's missing. 😀
Jersey Shore moved out of the Jersey Shore…the clubs are all gone, the Seaside boardwalk has been rebuilt since the fire and it’s much more “family friendly”…Wildwood is still well, Wildwood…Asbury Park is New Hope PA at the shore, so Ocean & Monmouth county beaches have changed for the better…

Sorry. Networkpro, didn't mean to rain on your parade with your other entry. Different people like different food choices. I apologize. Take care!

Yeah… I’m not sure it’s gonna last long at this prices. The kids menu is even hitting 20$ for meals

I know it’s Disney and prices are gonna be up but this is insane…

I don't care how good the food is, there is no way that I am paying those prices. Talk about greed. I don't usually wish ill on any business, and I love the concept and would have happily eaten there if it were reasonably priced. But these prices are disgusting and they set a bad precedent. If people happily pay these ridiculous prices, then what is stopping all of the other locations from raising their prices?
