The Cake Bake Shop Bakery, What the Heck?

Good point. Maybe that's what the Cake Bake Shop is counting on. Good luck to them.

I give them a year and a half at the prices they charge.

Disney does not care, When the Cake Bake Shop fails, they will simply find another tenant.
Disney doesn’t need to find a new tenant. Probably select for the list of businesses who want to set up shop at Springs. I’m surprised for many years Sosa Cigars where guests can smoke inside was in operation.

Totally agree, there is probably a waiting list.

Disney just picks another tenant off the list.

So, I guess the saying let them eat cake is no longer an option???

Seriously, I know groceries costs are up but based the whole price of a cake as someone mentioned, I could buy a lot of cake mix and icing and bake my own cakes at home. Part of the fun of going to WDW is trying different things that you don't do every day. But honestly the cost of a piece of cake is ridiculous. For that price, the cake better be the best you ever had and have a rare ingredient. I don't think that bake shop will be open that long at that price.
brownies are the best too...homemade brownies are totally the best...

prices are nuts, but...let's say i was going to try this out. has anyone gone? if so, any of you guys gluten free? my wife has celiac and just want to make sure they're good at providing a GF menu and/or modifying existing dishes. their menu on their site has a GF indicator, but...nothing is marked as GF lol

looked at the prices at another location, seems at leastn33% or more, quess they figure people are willing to splurge since they are at disney, hope for their sake they see the light and drop prices more in line with their other stores

Many restaurants offer early bird dinners. Late night menu. Bakery items half price an hour before closing.
So based on time of day, not foot traffic? This isn't a diner off the turnpike it's a restaurant on WDW property. Can you point to any restaurant on property that does this?
