...Counter service restaurants. I am very curious as to which counter services are amazing. Every time I go we end up eating the same ole stuff. We really need some ideas of were to go in all four parks. I checked out some reviews here but they all seem to be the same. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

I love the Columbia Harbour House. It's a break from the typical burger and fries that a lot of CS restaurants serve. Although last time we had a bit of a delay getting to the counter as apparently a tour group found it a favorite spot as well.

I know it's mentioned a lot on these boards... but sunshine seasons is fantastic! I love myself a burger and fries (mmm pecos bill) but SS is such a nice change. The food seems less commercial and generic here. Probably not a WHOLE lot healthier, but when you think you've eaten your last french fry.. this is the place to go!
And plus... the DESSERTS! YUM!

I've always found Sunshine Seasons to offer a good selection throughout the day. And the ingredients in their prepared food (excluding the bakery and sandwich fare) always seemed more fresh as well- probably from being so close to a greenhouse. :)

The Epcot Manifesto
For Epcot, I do love Sunshine Seasons as well, and am always happy to catch a bite at Yorkshire County Fish Shop (love some Fish and Chips!). I also will always make a stop at Kringla Bakeri Og Kafé. Also, depending on when you go, if the Cantina de San Angel is open from it's refurb, the word I've seen coming out looks really good.
Flame Tree Barbeque is pretty much a "must" for our family when at AK.
In the MK, I know it's mostly snacks, but I love the Sleepy Hollow Snacks, because it's fairly quiet over there and nothing says vacation like some Fried Dough (Funnel Cake). We also tend to do Pecos Bill for a Taco Salad and I have a soft spot in my heart for Pinocchio Village Haus.
I'm one of those who like to eat myself around WDW. It's not a good trip unless I've put on a good 10 lbs by the end! :slurp:

We eat CS every day, but don't want to eat "amusement park food." Disney Counter Service is much more than hotdogs, hamburgers, and chicken nuggets. Sure, they have that everywhere, but there are many other options. AND, they don't cost too much more.

Magic Kingdom:
- Fresh fruit and bakery items at Mainstreet Bakery
- Turkey Bacon Wrap or Caesar Salad at Cosmic Ray’s
- Chicken Noodle Bowl at Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station
- Tuna sandwich or Fried Fish basket at Columbia Harbour House
- Hotdog at Casey’s Corner on Main Street. Baseball-themed place that I love!
- “Dole Whip” icecream float in Adventureland. YUM!!

Epcot:
- Sunshine Seasons. Hands-down the best CS restaurant in Disney. Asian food, rotisserie chicken, salads, panini's.
World Showcase going clockwise:
- Mexico: Cantina de San Angel counter service tacos and enchiladas.
- Norway: Kringla Bakery has Danishes and homemade Norwegian breads.
- China: Lotus Blossom Café for stir fried shrimp.
- Germany: My favorite! Somerfest for a bratwurst.
- Japan: Yakitori House for Teriyaki Chicken.
- Morocco: Tangierine café for Falafel wrap with couscous.
- France: Crepe’s at Crepes des Chefs de France.
- UK: Yorkshire County Fish Shop.

Animal Kingdom
-BBQ ribs at the Flametree BBQ, or a pulled-pork sandwich
- If you have to go to Pizzafari, then get a Caesar Salad or Italian sub. Disney pizza is horrible, except for the new restaurant in Italy.
- Tamu Tamu in Africa has a Tuna Pita or a Turkey and swiss on Focaccia.
- Sweet & Sour pork at the Yak And Yeti Counter Service.

Disney's Hollywood Studios:
- Backlot Express has grilled Turkey and Cheese with red peppers sandwich
- Studio Catering has a Pressed Tuscan Deli sandwich and a greek salad.
- ABC Commissary has a Chicken Curry with rice.
