Just so you know any Marvel character not featured at IoA can be used at any Disney park. But possibly more important, any new Marvel characters can be used at WDW. That is where your attention should be focused. Don't underestimate Marvel's abilities to create new characters. Well, I guess you could but that would be poor judgement.

~a deluge of profit~

I thought it wasn't quite so clear as "Any character not featured at IoA can be used at WDW". Rather, I thought there was language about "character families" or something like that, so that, for exmaple, using Storm would knock out Professor X, Beast, and Wolverine as well.

My guess is with the popularity of this franchise, Disney is busy trying to figure out the best way to do with the characters as they wish. They can use them at will on the West Coast as it is. Just need to figure out how to get the whole US qualified as the West Coast.

Does adding San Diego State to the Big EAST prove that the west coast is actually in the east? Does that help or hurt in this argument?

Yup, it should. It would do well I think. :D

Seriously! People can complain about how Marvel doesn't really mix with the Disney formula, but the truth is Marvel is very popular, regardless. It appeals to everyone, even females. With other great minds, I think Disney would be able to pull off a Marvel park. I'll admit I can't seem to think of a spot in Disneyland that would actually compliment the Marvel theme... I guess it would work in Hollywood Land in DCA. But as a stand alone park I think it'd work.

No doubt! Just like with the Disney characters and movies, Marvel also has themes dealing with good vs. evil, being different, overcoming obstacles, heroism, doing whats right, etc.

Its just more complex characters sending the same message. There will always be those who hate, but numbers and fan reaction don't lie; Marvel is loved by many people, alot of those people also lovers of Disney.

Exactly! I 100% agree.

I thought it meant any characters used in the parks...not just used in the attractions.

Images of other characters are featured in Marvel Superhero Island.
