Congratulations Emory!!! Emory has one of the best smiles ever! I am glad she enjoyed her first day of school. Boy do you guys go back to school early. I would think that would be tough in all that heat!

From what I understand, it’s kind of a public/charter school, if that makes any sense, and they have more of a year ‘round, staggered schedule…?!
Once our 3 were educated, in what we felt was a proper manner, and outta’ the house (except for our special needs son that still lives with us), all was well. I try to keep up with it all, but it’s their business now…!!!
As far as the heat goes, this has been the most rainy, mild summer we’ve had in, literally, decades.
We have plenty of A/C down here, so it’s really not an issue, even if it is our normally toasty.
Usually, long before this time of year, we’re at 105+ degrees, and the lawns are brown. Our lawn is as green as can be, and needs another mowing…!!!!!
And yes, that last pic is a heart tugger, ain’t it…???!!!!!
We’ve done it with our children enough times, and it’s always been special, but with Emmy and Audrey it was also very special, and probably even more so, as DWifey (she’s gonna’ kick my butt
) and I ain’t exactly spring chickens anymore…!!!
