I wasn't too upset that Pamela got fired, but I disagree with Trump's rationale. He said that she was a poor judge of talent. First off, there's very little talent on that team to judge. Second of all, she asked them what their strengths were and assigned tasks accordingly. Thirdly, when Maria was not performing well, Pamela shifted some of Maria's responsibilities to Jen.

So, I thought she judged her talent fine. I also liked the way she forced everyone to listen when someone else in the group was talking. I wasn't bothered by her autocratic management style. Given the circumstances (several losses in a row, an underperforming team, no team spirit), the autocratic style was a legitimate option.

The best rationale for her firing was what Carolyn said - she should have priced the items lower. It was a yooooge mistake on Pamela's part. Now if it were me sitting in the Trumpster's chair, I would've canned Stacy. In addition to constantly sniping and trying to undermine the Project Managers, she has never contributed anything of substance to any of the tasks. Ditto for Ivana and Maria.

Mark Burnett certainly didn't look for the "best and brightest" when he cast this show!

I couldn't agree with you more on your assessment of last night's happenings. I've disagreed with Trump's reasoning a lot this year. George Ross thought Pamela did bring the team together under difficult circumstances but Pam's insistence that she 'tied' the other team didn't go over very well nor did her insistence that the product was priced right, and even argued that she thought the price was too low. I think this stubborness and bad judgement on setting a high price was the real reason Trump fired her even though he seemed to emphasize her lack of ability of assessing people's skills. Stacey, the mole, needs to go as soon as possible. In fact, I don't like any of the ladies except Jennifer.

NOW, the best part of the show was that hottie, Anna Kournikova. She may not be the best at tennis, but who cares. When Raj showed interest in Anna, she challenged him to return only one of her five serves and, in return, she would go out with him. Of course, he lost. And she made him run around the stadium dressed only in his boxers while she, McEnroe and the other guys batted tennis balls at him. Too funny!

I don't know if you watch the encore presentation on Saturday night but there's more of the boardroom and less of the project so you can get a better idea of what transpired that wasn't shown in Thursday's broadcast.

The guys will be back on QVC on Oct. 11th.

Congratulations to the men yet again. Nice to see that they are keeping up and know how to work together in comparison to the women. They just get on my nerve in the fact that they can't work as a group. It's been shown every week. Oh well, they still have my interest and I'll continue to watch. (I think most business people love this show!)

Trump has not been making the same decisions as he has last season, and it annoys me.

Pam did a phenomenal job. She rallied a tteam together, had them ahve great success, and kept bickering to a minimum. Pamela did make a good judgement after she asked what strengths evberyone has and Maria said she was a speaker. She saw Maria stunk, and made a decision to have her shut her mouth.

Pamela should not ahve gone. She possesses great leadership, even if she is a little over the top.. Buut those girls did not recognize that was exaclty what they needed.

Again, these "explosive" boardrooms are only b/c they are trying to outdo themselves this year, despite dwindling viewers and losing Best Reality Competition to AMAZING RACE, which Trump et al did not expect.

But I still am addicted,a nd now prefer this to Survivor.

My family, girlfriend and I burst out into laughter again when the trumpets start to play as Trump comes down the escalator. It's hilarious the subtle effects they have during the show, making him seem like he's a god in the business world. It's just funny seeing how they portray him. All in all, still a good show.

Or how Mr Executive Producer wants to be portrayed, lol.

This has always struck me:

Donald Trum's casino and such went bankrupt and lost a lot of money. I don't know specifics, but I know something to this effect has happened. And Donald continually says how he doesn't care, its only 2% or something of his net worth.

However, when Pamela states she "only lost by $10" and calling it as a tie, he and George pipe up and say that you still lost, I don't care if its 100 million or 10dollars, you still lost.

Well, Mr Trump, how about you saying that your casinos ran into a lot of trouble, that doesn't make your name sound good. Two percent or a full 100 percent, its still a failure no matter how you look at it.

Your show was never the "most watched show" of the television season.

And you are not the highest builder and owner of land in NYC.

LIES LIES LIES! haha

Anyway, you know I love the show. But when I think about this, it annoys me!

I was driving thru downtown White Plains today and there is a huge construction project going ont, City Centre. What it is is the old Macys building (it has since moved into the old Abraham & Strauss store in the Galleria) being converted into a mall with restaurants, a big multiplex, a hotel and a luxury apartment/condo complex. I look on one of the store windows where the apartment rental office is and what do I see? TRUMP TOWER  Yes, The Donald is in my backyard, selling condos. Wonder if that will be the job for this years winner?

Oh so was I! That girl was on my last nerve with her endless nattering on and on and on. Was it just me, or did the Donald, Caroline and pretend George (forget that dudes name  ) seem particularly aggitated in the boardroom? Wonder if it got heated in there?

Next week looks gooooood! :D

I get annoyed at The Donald too.

He hates exaggerators??!

Oh really. So who is responsable for telling him his show is number 1, that he's the largest real estate developer in NYC, and that his hair looks great?!

Because they are all exaggerations.

I would call that hair comment a GROSS exaggeration, Donnie!

I just hope Ivanna is next to go as she's been on my nerve for a long time. Tonight didn't keep me too interested. The challenge was difficult and kinda...well....boring to see them do. I think you could come up with something a little more challenging that would keep my attention. I guess the Disney pumpkin I'm doing was more important! :hammer:

The tasks really aren't as interesting as last season...and the awards for the winning team suck too! :hurl:

I was happy to see Stacey go too, she was long overdue to get the ax and can anyone be that short? None of these people seem to stand out. So far, my female favorite is Jennifer

and for the guys, my favorite is Kevin

.

The guy best suited for the job was Brad who was fired for Trump's ratings. :)

I think Trump likes the Harvard kid.

Have to agree, Tramp. This is like the Trump Ego~fest this season. Although I do want to watch Saturday for more board room, because Trump & co looked to be a bit aggitated last night. Wonder if Staceys argumentive nature tweeked them the wrong way.

What a show tonight. I was glad to see Stacy go.
I said to my mom and my sister last night, "if Stacy's team loses, she's gonna be the one to go just because how they are portraying her tonight". It was so predictable! Sort of pathetic that it was so anticipated.

Just my opinion though...

Hi Tramp! I have to agree with you...anyone who is that argumentative had to go. I would never stand for it, and I think that is largely the reason they dismissed her ideas over all...OH! And my best friend is 4 ft 11.....So yeah, there are people that short...ROFLOL!

I've had a lot of people ask me, or rather tell me to apply for this show as they think I would be excellent for it. Yeah, I've got the same mind-set and probably just as well at or even better with the business skills than most. The only thing is, I'm still young (18) and don't own a company although my father's job would help me out from all that I've learned from him. So now I ask, should I apply or wait and see what I can do with/for TWDC?

Apply! There is no telling how likely you are to succeed, but you will definantly be an enigma and good TV.

I think I should....but I don't see Trump even considering an 18 year old in college with a lot of business knowledge (but no real background in a company) heading one of his companies. Heck, they keep saying the one gentleman is too young and he's probably like 25.
