Everything sounds awesome. I can't wait until I get a chance to see everything come together. The projections used for Disney Dreams were fantastic. Really changed the look of the castle over there, so I'm really excited to see how them on Main Street. My only concern is in the video, the person filming was right in the line of one of the projectors and I could see that being annoying if you're in that area.

Wow! I love the vintage concept art. Couldn't they have put an actual picture of the castle?

On another note, just in time for your trip @Mike S!

I actually think this is way better than a picture of the castle. It doesn't pretend to be a stand-in for the actual building. It's a great tribute especially now during the 60th, and that art is just beautiful!

New Scrim!

Oh my gosh! What a clever image to put on that scrim! Someone in TDA is very smart.

For those who don't get it, that's the first sketch of the Disneyland Castle as done by Disney artist Herb Ryman, in early 1954 when Walt re-assigned him from the Studios to WED Enterprises to help with Disneyland.

This sketch was made before they decided to "turn the castle around" later in 1954, as the team first thought the side that now faces north should face south.

VERY nice to see that new scrim. I was hoping they would use one of the photo-imagery covers...but what a GREAT surprise to see them using the original Ryman concept art instead of the typical Castle photo!

A neat idea and a fantastic touch!

One of those things Park fans can really make the connection to, but non-fans can also likely appreciate.
Well done, Anaheim.

Here are some designs i have seen recently that i thought might be worth sharing here.

A simplified, alternative 'logo' of sorts -

A neat little graphic done for the Disneyland Alumni Club recently -

Adding this one here as well, although most here have likely already seen it in our previous '60th' thread.
Quite nice, so it belongs here too !
