At the bus stop, I quickly realized that the Epcot bus was arriving first, so I hopped on that and got to the monorail.
I snagged a FP for Pooh just as Happily Ever After was starting. Since I would be seeing that in a couple of days, I got right on Pooh.
This is also when I realized that I had to eat something (also because Han kept texting me and telling me to eat dinner). I was on such an adrenaline rush throughout the evening, but was starting to crash a bit.
Super pretty Tangled area, this was impressive.
After some searching, I found a corn dog in Frontierland. Nothing else was really open (and I did not want to go to Casey’s in all of the HEA crowds), but I was very happy with it.
Next up was Jungle Cruise.... er, Jingle Cruise.
And it was here that I found out that all of my friends were leaving the Kingdom and I would be here alone. I was a little ticked off, but Han seemed more upset for me, which was actually kind of sweet. I think he really wanted to be in Florida with me.
Anyways, the cruise around the Jungle was good, but I think my skipper was getting a little tired. He did notice my button at the end of the trip and wished me a happy birthday. I told him it was actually in two days and he said “Well that makes you a liar.”
I got in line for Pirates and set up a FP for Mermaid. Then I noticed that Mansion was a walk on, so I cancelled the Mermaid FP, got one for Pirates to use, and walked to Mansion.
Unfortunately, I did not see my friend Leah who is a ghostess. I did however realize that Mansion is creepy at 11:30 and you’re alone.
Back to Pirates, and I was in the FP queue with a woman who breastfed her baby at various places in the queue. I’m all for breastfeeding in public, but I’m not sure this was the most sanitary place to do that (the queue always has that musty feel). Also, her other kids were running rampant and the grandmother didn’t seem too interested in reeling them in. Oh well, not my problem.
It was 11:55, my feet were killing me, and I was drop dead tired. Time to say good night to the Magic Kingdom and drag my tired butt back to Pop.
And drag it, I did. My feet felt like they were on fire. Walking from the bus stop at Pop to my room, which was a pretty short walk, felt like walking across coals. I couldn’t find any blisters, but my soles were killing me. Luckily, I just said hello to my friends (“We were wondering where you were”) and crashed in bed.
One day down, three fun filled days to go.
Step count: 33,632... no wonder my feet hurt.
