NO, No NO Lilofan! Curling is a lot of fun to watch. When we moved way up North from the deep South, I had no clue what curling was (besides at the beauty shop, lol). Then I watched it on the Olympics and found out that most of the team members came from our town or close by. I even know the head of the last team. So, I now am a confirmed Curling fan. It is a very regional thing, but I think it is becoming more well known due to last Olympics curling being on TV.

It's not a sport I particularly am interested in, although I do know it is HUGE up in Canada.

One sport USA does not have a chance in is cricket. India, Pakistan are some of the countries that do very well professionally in this sport.

It's actually getting (some) local interest around here. Then again, it's still "new" for most people in my area, and I assume in various other states, as well.

Winter games are also my favorite, but I enjoy rooting for the USA teams in both Olympics. That aside, what I really like the most about all the Olympic games, is watching the incredible feats of athleticism from athletes around the globe. It's exciting and fun, and I'm looking forward to the upcoming events!

USA basketball has the top players in the NBA representing. Anything less than a gold medal is unacceptable.

We have got cricket leagues but it’s mostly played by Indian/Pakistan/Trinidad Americans. The families bring homemade foods , BBQ , and lots of alcohol to cheer on their teams and friends on the weekends.

If I was the coach I’d be having the players run suicide drills in practice until they drop from exhaustion, rinse and repeat. Herb Brooks the late USA hockey coach pre 1980 Lake Placid pushed his team by running drills on the ice for several hours , players dropped from exhaustion, threw up and the coach did not let up and made them go through drills throughout the night.

Opening Ceremony was, underwhelming at best. The last few minutes were the best with the light show and of course Celine Dion. Very big mistake not to have this in an arena or stadium and not just because of the weather.

looks like they toned down women’s beach volleyball. i noticed they’re wearing less revealing outfits now. although i like watching volleyball, my wife isn’t buying that’s why i liked to watch women’s beach volleyball
