It's because 90% of it is being shown on Peacock. There's events I wanted to see that weren't airing on television unless you randomly came across it or were up at the buttcrack of dawn to see it live.
Saw Phillipines gymnast male win gold yesterday during the day and immediately after was the medal ceremony live. It was emotional and not at dawn.

I've seen (various) events on the 4 USA cable channels, in addition to the NBC TV network. That aside, you're correct -- Peacock has a ton of coverage; but I won't pay any more to get Peacock, so I've been sticking with USA and NBC.

China mens has been a number of golds in swimming with some of the athletes testing positive in recent non Olympic races. Let’s see if they test clean this time around.
Regardless of any bad results from testing the medals and ceremony are done. Correction to the records and reissuing of medals after testing does not replace the athlete being robbed of that moment on the podium by a cheat.

Snoop Dogg is putting on quite the appearance also hanging out with his homies USA Mens Basketball. If Snoop competed in the Weed Olympics he would get the silver. The gold medal would go to the king himself - Willie Nelson.

Thanks for this tip, by the way.

Since today started the (new Olympic sport) Breaking, I looked over what channels I had and couldn't find it. But then I recalled that you mentioned the E network for some sports. Voila! Breaking was on!!

Have mixed feelings about this being in the Olympics. It was interesting watching the (women's competition) of Breaking, and the enthusiasm and creativity of routines from the women were evident -- even to someone like me who's never seen it before. Without being able to preview the music beforehand, they all got out there and put together intricate dance moves. Yet, considering other athletic dances like ballet, etc. are not considered Olympic sports, I'm just not sure if Breaking should be either.

Anyone else see the Breaking today? Men's competition is tomorrow.

I also saw some of the men's competition today as well. They were skillful and creative in their routines. (Although I still don't think this belongs as an Olympic summer event, it was quite entertaining to watch, nonetheless.)
I saw the table tennis matches. When I played ping pong like we called it back in the day I was pretty good but these Olympians are completely next level.

The breaking competition IS break dancing (only the folks involved don't like to use the word dancing), still it looks like quite the workout and is entertaining. No more and no less entertaining than the skate boarding.

I saw a clip on how proud the Bronx / NYC is so proud what they created is now an Olympic sport!
