I’d like to welcome you to what I believe might be the first “No Trip” trip report.

My name is Tuvalu. Ok, that’s not my real name (it’s not “Shirley” either ) but it’s how I’m known here on WDWMagic. For the past six years I have contributed a lot of trip reports in this forum. A lot! Along the way I have met so many wonderful people and made new friends, some of whom I have had the privilege of meeting in person. Honestly the reason why I write is for you, the reader, because I cherish our interactions. (Getting to re-live my trip is just a bonus!)

My husband Woody, my daughter Em and I were supposed to be leaving for our Spring Break trip to WDW tomorrow. Of course we are sad we cannot go (and our doing our part to keep ourselves and others safe) but remain confident we WILL get to go back sometime in the future.

I had been contemplating going “live” for our trip. Woody and Em are not fans of my reporting “live” since my attention is diverted from enjoying vacation with them. However this idea for a “No Trip” trip report came straight from Woody himself!

So for the next week, if you‘d like to Journey into My Imagination and read about what could have been, I’ll be here.

I'm so glad to see that you got a reservation for BRV at your beloved Wilderness Lodge and that you'll get the chance to enjoy the pool there which I know you enjoy so much. It will be so nice to be back on property again for sure. I thought the live streams of MK for the CM preview days went really well so hopefully things will go smoothly for you.

Thanks for the well-wishes, Linda. Em joked that 2020 will probably bring a tropical depression/hurricane during our trip, but we are choosing to remain optimistic.

I can’t believe how big they are getting! And I’m not sure I’ve ever mentioned it, but I really love how careful you are to avoid showing their faces.

I have no doubt, but there isn’t a need - there has always seemed to be so much personality that comes thru the pictures - maybe because we are more focused on their activity than their faces.

What great little helpers! Do they like eating the tomatoes as much as they like picking them?

YES!! Today we went to the garden where the full-size tomatoes are and before I could stop them both had plucked ripe tomatoes from the vines and bit into them like they were eating apples!

They devour the cherry tomatoes....especially Tuvalette....she is always popping one into her mouth when she thinks no one is looking.

Tuvalu, I used to be cute like that.

My daughter used to eat cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and red bell pepper like they were candy. Now she won't touch the tomatoes, and I don't think she eats cucumbers, either.
