Test Track Rehab Result?????

Actully it did. When WDI was still testing it with the test & adjust crew. That was the reason for the nearly two year delay. (Among other problems.) Nobody was on the car though (other than sandbags.) , and it's been fail safed so there's no chance it will ever do that again.MicBat said:Nope... And never will.

Just a small update, rode TT today, and the sound wasn't working at all in my car. Same for the video, we we're pulling .2 lateral g's at 6 mph the whole ride...:lol:
I told a CM and he said that not all of them are working, and my though was, what the hell was the point of this rehab then? I'm all for making the ride look new again, but when the cars video AND audio don't work after a month or so rehab, something just isn't right in my book. :brick:

I'm pretty sure its made of styrofoam or some really soft material so it wouldnt make much different what happens. I just really wish they would make the ride a bit more relevent. They should theme the cars as electric or hydrogen cars of the future. They could set up the idea in the briefing room. Test Track the way it is, is quite irrevelent to the Epcot Mission, it being very fun notwithstanding.

I too rode Test Track again yesterday. This time the thermal imaging camera was working properly. Additionaly both the audio and video screens in my vehicle worked perfectly.
I can see where you're coming from, but over the years, Epcot's mission has changed a bit. It goes perfectly with the present, "Discovery," because its giving its guests a glimpse into automobile testing, something most people never get the chance to see.EpcotMark said:

All of the canned lighting in this room is still GE.
Not nearly as busy as it would be without Soarin'.
The singles preshow has the same televisions. Unsure of the normal preshow rooms.
I couldn't tell if the carpet was new, maybe you've examined each strand!
These always remind me of that Price is Right game.
The stoplight looks new. They're scattered all over the loading area now.
Voila: The lights that were mentioned earlier. The woman in front of me had a HUGE fro so I cropped as much as I could out.

Oh yea, and something I noticed on Tuesday that I may have missed here. The status board that was in FW east by Innoventions that showed the wait times of rides around the parks is no longer there. Was that a temporary thing for the holiday season?
