I've been watching Idol since the second season. I didn't watch the first b/c I hated reality TV...still do, but can stand it a little more now. And I stopped watching the 3rd season b/c I knew Fantasia was going to win and I hated her.

I didn't watch the first season either, for exactly the same reason!
I watch a bit more reality TV now. I like Survivor, too.
Funny thing about Fantasia, I enjoyed her while she was on the show, but find her really annoying now.
Last season was really good! I was kinda rooting for Bo. But Carrie was also deserving.

I missed the first season too (kind of makes you wonder who DID watch it,huh?), but I saw them announce the winner on the Today show. I didn't really care for Fantasia either, but I did enjoy last season - there were some very talented contestants.

Dh always tries to occupy himself far from the TV on Idol nights. :lol:
Tonight he occupied himself right out of the house! (He had a meeting.)

I've become a slave to the TV!
Sunday - Grey's Anatomy
Monday - 24
Tuesday & Wednesday - American Idol
Thursday - Survivor

That's just sad!
At least I'm fairly free on Friday and Saturday. That's when we usually rent DVDs. :lol:

This will be my first season watching, so is Tuesday a 2-hour audition type thing, and then Wed. a 1-hour result thing? Or how does it work?

My work schedule is so unpredictable that I really don't get hooked on much TV at all, although it's constantly on here. :lol:

Your signature is so nice. Will you be changing the thoughts on a regular basis?

Yes, tonight is all auditions. Is tomorrow's show an hour long? I'm not sure.
But tomorrow won't be a results show because competition doesn't start till the auditions are all over.

If I remember correctly, both nights are auditions till they're finished.

Edit: Just checked. Tomorrow night is an hour.

Well this week are just auditions from the cities that they visited. The ones where they tell people that they are actually going to Hollywood.

Thank you, Dot. And yes, I will change them every so often. Maybe twice a week? Tuesday and Friday, sound good to me. I got the idea from my LA teacher who has a Thought for the Day, but I changed mine to Thoughts, as I'm not changing it on a daily basis. :lol: (I might use some of hers, but I found a great website.)

I guess we'll have to see what happens with the Idol scheduling.

Only about 20 more minutes!!!!
