Teency Tiny SE Update

Rode SE today since a few weeks ago and noticed a couple things. In the descent there are new black sheets overhead above the triangles, these were not there a few weeks ago, and they are now essentially covering all the mess that was left above, this is in the latter half of the descent and there is now only one spot left right before the vehicles turn around where you can see up into chicken wire. All the rest has been covered with new black sheeting (which is still a poor solution) but they are either trying to hide all the junk that has been viewable and covering up their mess, or they are getting ready to do something?

Also, light effect problems at the 360 top, on the left side there are these bright wavy lights in the starfield thats a major distraction I was like what the, what is that about. And at the top the green dancing lights are a mess again and all over the place. Also the stars were turned off towards the left as you start to go down backwords and it was just black and blank.

No air condition running in the ride either, ick.

Oh and does anyone else think the load area is as dingy and falling apart as ever? It looks pretty bad,

Perhaps they are finally beginning work on those silly triangles.

After all, Oct. 1 came & went. Where's that new fiscal year everyone has been raving about? :p

Surprising they wouldn't have wanted to cover up that overhead mess with black sheets sooner if they weren't going to unveil the final design in a timely manner.

The green lights on the 180top ceiling (I saw it on Monday) is spill from the Matrix tunnel. Either a projector shifted, or a part of the masking did.

The green matrix overspill has been there since at least summer last year.

The new white spill only appeared last week - looking at the shadows cast by the Omnimover it appears to be a single work light underneath the ride track.

Both are poor show.

I know this is going to sound silly being directed at you, but are you sure?

I've seen it since I was working there.

Not silly, no. I`m almost certain. The Matrix leak is a Dec 2007 `upgrade` but the white leak from under the Omnis was noticable only last week to me, and not the week before. I`ve even aimed the camera in that direction a few times to get the rotating spiel warning. Unless I`ve been extremely lucky.

I may be confused as to what this leak is. I'm talking about some wavy white lines near the bottom of the star field right as you exit the matrix tunnel.

They almost look like the Northern Lights, but white.

Wow...This is interesting. I wonder if they are really starting up with work now that the new Fiscal Year has started for WDW.

REALLY, REALLY hope so. It would be great if they could finally finish SSE.:D

…In time for December...:lookaroun:D

While I was admiring the new black curtains hiding the chicken wire, I noticed that where they ended was littered with what looked like trash. It looked like pieces of paper or posterboard almost...

Is the spill that you are talking about also near the center of the roof?

Uggghhhh...

I noticed that waviness last week and my DW was wondering what it was. Didn't realize it was coming from the tunnel. The hose hidden mickey is also messed up.:brick:

This was my first time ridding it since the overhaul and I was somewhat impressed. Liked the original better, but the kids liked the ending better with the interactive 'future' part. DW couldn't get over those orange tights either...she doesn't think that a real person would ever wear something like that to work.
