That is one slow news day in Central Florida!

I'll say one thing for Orlando news, they can blow anything out of proportion or turn it into a circus.

I just rolled my eyes at this news report. Life is not always fair. If it was Halloween for a MNSS, maybe. On a regular day? Was not wroth the digital bandwidth it has taken up.

Thats confusing, because you clearly say its wrong to be insulting, but seem OK with the concept of punching someone.

If you're talking about punching a 15 year old for dressing up like a Disney character, then yes, I think it's wrong.

If you're talking about punching someone who breaks into your house with the intention of stealing from you or possibly hurting your family, then I don't see a problem with laying the thug out.

If you don't see the difference in those 2 scenarios, then I really don't know what to tell you.

Quite what attempted robbery has to do with this thread is beyond me, was the oversized fairy shop lifting or do robbers in the US dress like fairies?

However I dont see a problem with laying a thug out, sadly some police forces and the judicial system may not see that as minimal force.

that has always been the rules. You cannot go in as a character.
It can confuse the young children thinking they are actual cast members.
I am sorry to say it can also confuse some of the adults I see.

Didn't something similar happen about a year or so ago with a women dressing up like one of the princesses with her daughter or something?

Yes, I do recall someone being denied admission/being asked to leave.

As with any rule, sometimes people slip by without being caught. But that doesn't mean that everyone will, nor does it allow them to call "foul" when they get caught. Such is life. ;)

I wonder if they would ask Kate Middleton to leave if she showed up?...I mean, she would be dressed like a princess no matter what she had on.

I haven't read all the pages, but didn't some adult just dress up as the Queen from Snow White last Thursday and get into MK fine? I get the rule, but clearly not everyone's enforcing it.

Not looking for argument, but reasoning. So if this costume were on another 15 year old girl who was over weight, would she still be denied access, or allowed because she does not look like the small petit Tinkerbell? Is that not wrong?

I don't think that any physical attributes were taken into account other than she could confuse young children. Just imagine if they let someone in dressed like a character and they started running through the park slapping people on the face. A majority of the people would probably think that it was a cast member gone wild and immediately contact a lawyer. This is more about Disney protecting it's image and license rights.
