They are not really "techno" music, more like World Music, at least that's the categories that you'd find those music under.

You can buy each of the music separately either from iTunes, or from the artists CD's.

Of course you HAD to mention the music... Now I had to go and put it on my computer while I'm browsing the forums. Gee thanks!

Though I still prefer the original version of RoE's pre-show. It took a while to get used to the newer one. (though if this version stays as long as the first, we're due for a new pre-show loop early next year...)

I've never heard The Bear, Red Skies or Texas play in the park before. Every time I've sat through the entire playlist, it's played the first 6 songs from 8:30 till 9:00 and then Jim Cummings starts talking after Our Life finishes playing.

Are the other songs only played at certain times of year, or if the show is running late or something?

Any time I've seen Illuminations, I've wondered the same thing-- I recall hearing Red Skies, but never The Bear or Texas. I've gone in February, June, and August...maybe the other tracks are pre-pre-Illumnations tracks?

On a hot summer night in August...RoE started like 1/2 hour late...boats out at one of the maxi-barges for a while, no idea what happened, show ran fine...

Anyway, yeah, it will go through the entire loop if a show is running late...to my disappointment, it reached the end...and just restarted the same loop! Slightly annoying, but I woulda loved to have heard the original preshow music again...

I run the sound board for a community theater group. When I come up with pre-show music, I know that I have 30 minutes between house opening and curtain. While I typically try and plan for an on-time curtain so that the houselights can fade as a song in the playlist ends, I always give myself at least an extra 10 minutes of music in case the curtain is delayed.

Same thing with intermission music (and post-show exit music, if we use it). ESPECIALLY the Intermission music, as our audiences tend to be VERY slow in returning from the lobby for Act 2... :fork:
