So far it seems to be two votes for A and one for B.

Also, how does- Phantom Manor: The Haunting of Krampus sound for a name?
I personally think A would be the better choice,BUT Tiki and MEW seem to favor bigger ideas and out there choices. Something more impractical like Phantom V Krampus could earn us a lot of brownie points if we can pull it off just because it is the bigger idea.

I'm cool with that.

We should develop the rest of our idea before Friday, so that we all have a day to do our parts.
"A Ravenswood Child has caused trouble throughout Thunder Mesa. This Christmas, he receives more than coal, as Krampus and his minions run through the Ravenswood Manor, and eventually Thunder Mesa with no avail, trying to find the child, but they find other naughty people in Town."

This is the basics of the idea we voted on. The other thing we have to decide on the is the mascot.
My suggestion is a goat, as Krampus is part goat. But I am open to other ideas.

I'd go with the goat, only with a more eerie look to it to fit the theme.

I would vote the Krampus and the Ravenswood kid as our mascots. Phantom Manor doesnt have a Raven "mascot" or a narrator. It uses the Phantom and the Bride to tie the scenes together. It might be a good idea to do something similar with our version. Have the Krampus as an imposing figure watching over things and the kid hiding from Krampus in different scenes throughout the ride.

The goat would be cool if we wanted something more akin to the raven in the U.S. mansions. Might look out of place in the mansion scenes though, but it would fit in great with thunder mesa.

The prompt states "- Create an original, non-IP character (or creature) to replace the Raven as the ride's unofficial mascot. Unlike the Haunted Mansion, the Raven is featured less in Phantom Manor. Keep this in mind."
I do not believe we would be allowed to use Krampus or the Ravenswood kid (as they are non-original). Correct me if I'm wrong or misinterpreting this

You're right, I just thought that since it would be a new member of the Ravenswood family, that would count as original. But, like I said, the goat is a good idea as a raven-like mascot so Im fine using it. I just thought it would be a bit redundant on top of the kid and the krampus since we already need both of those for our story.

A creepy goat works though

I am not sure. It may be original. @MANEATINGWREATH @TheOriginalTiki

I mean, I guess it doesn't hurt to add the goat either way. It's just an extra element to include in write ups and draw (if possible). Not a huge deal really.
I was thinking about the goat being like an ominous skull, to capture the dead feel of the Mansion.

That would fit into the skeleton theme this mansion uses too! We could do a lot of cool places to put the goat skull. It could be the topper for a Christmas tree in one room, hanging as a door knocker on another, etc.

So we seem to have decided on a story and mascot. So we will have a Ravenswood child be hunted by Krampus before going through the town. And we will have a goat skull hidden in each room as a mascot. No we really need to pick up the pace, and crank this project out. I will take the Façade, queue, stretch room, and load/unload, but everyone else needs to take things too! Also, start pitching gags.

I had signed up to do the queue and preshows a few pages back, but I'm totally fine if you want to do it instead.
I can even take all of the stuff you mentioned so you can focus on art. I have the next two days off work, so I'll have plenty of time

Oh! Sorry I missed that! You are welcome to it! I will maybe do load through the attic ride through, unless anyone else wants that. Also, Logos and Exterior/Part of queue.

FYI to Pi, the majority of the current queue is just in a themed overhang.
