Thinking about it: does the Spirit Realm ride really NEED a host? It could really be this land's Na'vi River Journey but even greater because it's Iroh.

That's a very good point. Now we just need a good reason/explanation for why regular tourists are entering the spirit world to begin with. THAT is the sticking point haha. Normally it'd be fine, but since the bending glove technology is such a big part of the storyline of the land it'd be weird to have guests entering the spirit world without an explanation.

Going to a heritage center/museum and the massive amounts of energy combined with the bending gloves opens a portal to the Spirit Realm?

Works for me, haha. What is the context for the boats being in the museum? Maybe the ride starts out as a boat ride through a botanical garden or something?

Okay, so I figured I should probably start fleshing out what I've already established for Aethereld's Kingdom, so here are the basic concepts I had in mind, but expanded:

The Mordoc Castle Match - The E-Ticket 'Coastelevator' that was pitched, using a hybrid of a regular coaster and a drop ride. The ride takes place in the ruins of Mordoc's Castle, with the backdrop of the ride being a travel back to the duel between Dirk and Singe. The ride mainly utilizes a mix of AA figures, Screens, and Special Effects. The ride mainly utilizes three different tracks that all pass one another towards the end of the ride.

The Time Warp - An E-Ticket interactive trackless 3D dark ride that uses mainly s c r e e n s and a couple of Animatronic figures, with the screen portions being in Don Bluth's original style but in 3d. The AA portions of the ride mainly utilize figures like the ones seen in Mr. Toad, Buzz Lightyear, and Delta Dreamflight. I want to have a preshow of King Aethereld having a feast in Dirk's honor, and then telling the guests about how he saved his daughter, but I'm worried that this won't fit in all of the space in the area. The guests then ride through the events of Dragon's Lair ll but in Dirk's perspective.

Hilda's Holstery - Daphne's Mother, Hilda, owns this tavern. Said restaurant is table service and has two different menus: one for dining, and the other for drinking. Said dishes are scandanavian styled due to Hilda's viking theming, and said drinks are mostly beer.

The Treasury - Okay, so the backstory behind this one is that after Singe was defeated the Kingdom hauled back the entire hoard and wound up turning into a treasury, which is this gift shop. The gift shop contains mostly merchandise related to Dragon's Lair and Don Bluth's other works, along with other Universal Merchandise.

Streetmosphere - Mainly just more fleshed out surviving characters of the cast that are elaborated more within the parks along with some new ones.

Does this sound good? Should I cut anything out of this proposal? Does anything feel to contrived? Does it feel too cramped or nah?

I'm at a loss for Munchkin Country beyond the vague "festival" setting. @NateD1226 any ideas?

I'm thinking a bakery would be cool. And I can't get away from the idea of a launch ride being one of the festival rides.

I really think it should be all or mostly outdoor activities. I like the launch ride and bakery idea. It fits the vibe. I just don’t really want it to be too carnival-type. Maybe a spinning flat ride and a show?

Also do you want me to start working on some of the land. Plus, I can do an overview of our whole expansion and statistics

Idk when it was but a while back I had an idea for a “plussed” version of a whip ride that can go up and down multiple levels. I think that’d fit really well into Munchkin Country and be the right thrill level. Thoughts?

Yeah that is awesome!

Lineup of Oz

5 sublands

Munchkinland
- Launch ride
-"flying" whip ride
- Small show area
- Bakery (and maybe a small eating area that can go with it)

Glinda Area
-Glinda's Palace
-Shop (just because we haven't really said much about shops)

Poppy Field
- Play Area

Emerald City
- Trackless E-Ticket Dark Ride
-Shops
-Dining

Winkie Country
-Wicked show
-D or E-Ticket Thrill ride

I would love to work on Emerald City and the Glinda area if you don't mind me taking those.

I have a very specific idea in mind for the Emerald City E-ticket so I’d like to work on that or collab with you on it if you’d like. The Wicked Witch of the West coaster I’m picturing really being a Hilk replacement in the park lineup.
Yeah totally! Go ahead and work your vision. I can work on the surrounding stuff of Emerald City, some of the Munchkinland stuff, and the Glinda subland

I’m also thinking a quick service location in Munchkinland and a couple snack stands in Winkie Country to round out the dining. For some reason, I have this little vision of one of the Winkie snacks being basically a fried Twinkie

Port of Entry is the home of The Author, and each of the islands is a land The Author has brought to life with his/her magic book for inspiring a certain feeling. I’ll talk more about this later because my break just ended.
About to start working on the overview of the expanison and new park. Are we all still cool with the idea @mickeyfan5534 gave. mickeyfan, do you still want to go into more detail of your pitch. If not, I will start writing.

Really sorry for my absence yesterday. Tux, your Dragon's Lair concept looks wonderful and I fully support you going full speed ahead with it. I trust MF and Nate can work out the Oz details as I'm totally in the dark about that IP. The only thing we need some collaboration on is the presentation. Who's good at web design? Concept art? Video editing etc. The one thing I can provide is the podcast for the radio Recap, but we definitely need some visual components as well.

Tiki the books are public domain. They hold up surprisingly well as an adult and the characterizations are leaps and bounds better than any of the movie versions (they're also wonderfully feminist because L. Frank Baum was a huge supporter of the first wave feminist movement and was even married to the daughter of Matilda Gage but that's neither here nor there). They're quick reads also so there's that too. If you have a lazy afternoon, I highly recommend giving The Wonderful Wizard of Oz a read.

I'd like to hone some of my Premiere Pro editing skills. If you record the VO and everyone can provide their visuals, I'd happily try my hand at compiling the video together
