One last thing, Rocketeer will be indoor, right? Trying to figure out what weenie to draw guests in with.
Yes the coaster will be indoors with the entrance within the pavilion replacing Forecast Follies. When designing the weenie you can take into account the placement of Forecast Follies within the map that @Disney Dad 3000 gave to make his life easier when mapping out the additions.

What's our plan for the attraction in the 2020s? Does it close? Is it replaced by something else?
It closes some point in the 2020's, and in 2027 it's replacement opens. The replacement is the Rocketeer concept from @Solaris Knight.

If you want maybe have slight modifications given the reviews the update received ;)

That sounds fantastic! Let's do it!
A Boeing-Disney Air Extravaganza: An Opening Day Celebrairion
Aired on TV, Spring 1983

Higherups at Boeing were excited to put on a grand ceremony to show off to their fellow rivals that they were part of the iconic Disney legacy, Disney was the happy to host the spectacle in their park. The media was notified and invited to film the celebrairion giving both Disney and Boeing free press with broadcastings all over the country and even the world! Boeing housed planes at nearby airfields and airports that would takeoff and fly over The World Above Pavilion and then towards World Showcase Lagoon to demonstrate the greatness of their products. The lineup of aircraft including various aircraft that show off the line of aircraft had. In a spectacle similar to what the Blue Angels are known for, Boeing displayed various aerial tricks and stunts over the World Showcase lagoon to get the people excited. The planes performing in the show over World Showcase lagoon were painted with the palettes of various Disney characters. For the grand finale Boeing brought out the Space Shuttle Enterprise for a test flight prior to the Paris Air Show of 1983, and was followed by Disney parading out a Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck balloon on loan from the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade giving it that last Disney touch as the celebrairion came to a close.

Ooooh good idea. Whatever we do, maybe special guests and representatives from Boeing could attend?

I think the easiest thing we could do is a Boeing air show with planes flying in over the World Above Pavilion and performing over World Showcase Lagoon?

The flyover is definitely possible as this happens regularly with the Blue Angels, and an air show would be right up to Boeing's calling.

We could invite media to film similar to what Disney has done in the past acting as free publicity for both Epcot and Boeing.

Not that we have to produce it (though it would be amazing), but there has to be a special host right? :)

Okay, I'm working on the rough draft but it's more of an outline, in case anyone wants to add detail.

I mean there's not THAT many Disney IP with flight beyond like... Up?
Flight scenes or Flight being a big component?

If it’s just scenes:
- Fantasia (Pastoral Sympony and Night in Bald Mountain)
- Dumbo
- Saludos Amigos (Pedro the Plane and his segment)
- Peter Pan
- Sword in the Stone
- Mary Poppins
- The Rescuers
- The Many Adventure of Winnie the Pooh
- Rescuers Down Under
- FernGully (Fox)
- Aladdin
- Thumbelina (Fox)
- Toy Story (Falling with Style)
- Flight of the Navigator
- Rocketeer
- a bugs life
- Incredibles
- Atlantis
- Lilo and Stitch
- Hercules
- Treasure Planet
- Up
- Rio
- Wall-E (floating)
- Meet the Robinsons
- Big Hero 6

Theres likely more but those are some that had a character that flew at some point and time that stuck out to me. Obviously not many of these fit into Future World 😅

Yes, that’s true. I wasn’t criticizing the IP choice. I just thought it was funny that we ended up using the same lesser-known IP as Hulk.
Disney has been promoting it a lot lately it has. Disney JR tv show airing right now and a sequel film in the works Disney seems to be betting that the cult following is big enough.

Okay I have my outline but I want someone to help fill it all in. Any volunteers.
I’ll read through it when I have a chance

There can be one 😁

Any celebrities in mind? If Top Gun was out then Tom Cruise is a no brained.

Thank you!

Obviously there's some interpretation left out there with the layout assuming some curvature in some angles, etc but hopefully the placing works. Figured the 1st floor should be plenty open and above for any themed decor items, etc.

My first thought was actually Louis Gossett Jr with his Iron Eagle movies and little easier than Tom but both movies were '86.

Maybe some other 80s tv actor like Erik Estrada (CHiPS) or something.
