Okay, here are some character descriptions for Forecast Follies.
Version 1 (1980s)
- Professor Sunny Showers
A brown-haired man in glasses and a lab coat, Professor Sunny Showers is the host of the attraction. He knows all there is to know about meteorology and hopes to inspire park guests to go into the field as well. Unfortunately, he didn't count on the other characters getting in the way. Voiced by Gregg Berger.
- Mr. Sun
A big, yellow, cartoony sun a la the mascot of Raisin Bran, donning a pair of sunglasses. Mr. Sun is laid-back, a bit of a wisecracker, and sort of like a surfer dude personality-wise. He sings a catchy Beach Boys-esque song, "Hotter Than Hot", about the sun. Voiced by Frank Welker.
- Rain
The physical representation of rain is a shower of raindrops with a face. Rain is melancholy, a dour type, and thinks of herself as the most important weather because so many animals and plants depend on water to survive. She sings a blues number, "Rainy Day Blues", about why it rains. Voiced by BJ Ward.
- Snow
The air chills as Snow, taking the form of an anthropomorphic snowflake, enters the theater. Snow is always in a good mood, loving to brighten the day of boys and girls everywhere by coming to town (and cancelling school in the process). She claims to be good friends with Jack Frost and Frosty the Snowman. She sings a Christmas-y jingle called "White Stuff". Voiced by Katie Leigh.
- Cloudy
Cloudy is, fittingly, a large grey cloud. He's an excitable fellow, able to shapeshift, and loves a good joke. Of the weather, he's the most humble, believing that all types of weather are of equal importance and happy to take the day off and let Mr. Sun or Rain do their thing. He sings the jazzy "Sky High". Voiced by Lennie Weinrib.
- Wind
A gust of wind signals the announcement of, obviously, Wind. Wind usually takes the form of a few curved lines (wind is usually represented by that), but can turn into a tornado if she gets angry... which she does. Often. She's pals with Rain, and sings the Latin-inspired "Blow You Away". Voiced by Susan Blu.
Version 2 (1990s)
- Carl
Your typical 1990s teenager. He wears a backwards baseball cap, rides a surfboard, and is unbelievably lazy. He's been assigned a homework assignment about meteorology, but he doesn't know anything about meteorology nor does he care anything about it. But of course, by the end he's meteorology's biggest fan. Voiced by some random teenager Disney grabbed off the street.
- Da Sun
Mr. Sun retains his sunglasses, but is otherwise reinvented into a Jamaican stereotype. He sings a reggae song, "Is It Getting Hot in Here?". Voiced by Bob Marley.
- The Rain
Rain is replaced by the Raindrops, six wisecracking droplets of water that are caricatures of, and voiced by, famous comedians: Gilbert Gottfried, Whoopi Goldberg, Dana Carvey, Tim Allen, Mike Myers, and Wanda Sykes. They don't sing a song, their segment is just the six of them bickering, giving the comedians a chance to ad-lib but still being bogged down by a painfully unfunny script.
- Snow
Snow is a male now, simply because they thought it'd be clever having Vanilla Ice do his voice (y'know, 'cause his name is Vanilla ICE). He even has Vanilla Ice's face disturbingly superimposed onto a plywood cutout of a snowflake. He sings a rap song (it's the 1990s, after all), "Below Freezing".
- Cloudy
Cloudy is now a caricature of Sinbad. That's his entire schtick, he's Sinbad but as a cloud. He can still shapeshift, but only into things that reference popular 1990s movies (for example, at one point he turns into Buzz Lightyear). He's basically a poor man's version of the Genie from Aladdin. He sings the loud and bombastic "Bein' a Cloud".
- Wind
Wind is now a tornado all the time. Every single line out of her mouth is a yell. She's voiced by Rosie O'Donnell and sings an obnoxious rock version of "Blow You Away".
