Yeah, that’s what I meant. That would be one of the highlights of the attraction. Putting myself in the place of the rider, nothing would give me greater joy than to watch Oompa Loompa’s sing about Augustus Gloop’s chocolatey demise in real life.
Maybe we could also have the tunnel scene and have it transition to the horror section. (Have it be less scary than the original movie, but not as light as it was in the Tim Burton movie)

Glad that it will be lighter than the original movie. It would’ve been scarier than anything in the horror section.

Alright, so it looks like we've got the basic flow for how the ride will go:

  1. Mythology
  2. Fantasy
  3. Science Fiction
  4. Horror
  5. Adventure
  6. Romance
  7. Historical Epic
That seems pretty good to me. I think we do 2 major scenes each for genres 1-5, and then 1 scene each for genres 6-7. Also, as we're designing this ride, I feel like I should urge folks to base things around the original source text from these works, instead of any other adaptations.

I can work on Fantasy and Horror or Adventure.

I like the idea of having two different types of each genre. For example, there’s the more fantastical hobbit section and a more modern Charlie and the Chocolate Factory section. For horror, one scene can be from Frankenstein (a classic) and one from Goosebumbs (a more kid-friendly and modern tale)

I agree with that for sure... need some differentiation definitely

I’d really like to work on science fiction and horror if those haven’t been taken yet.

Also, especially with Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, make sure that you’re not basing this too much on the movie. This attraction is about literature, not movies. I don’t think that the tunnel scene was in the books, but it’s been a super long time since I’ve read it so I may be wrong.

I don’t think it was in the books either.

I have a copy nearby and I can confirm it's in the book. Almost word for word as it is in the original movie.
