Enhancements/ExpansionsWhat sort of ideas do y’all have about things we should add/ change for the celebration?
One of the focal points of the 25th Anniversary and beyond was Project Sparkle, a multi-phased guest experience enhancement program that plussed 10 attractions (Big Thunder Mountain, Peter Pan's Flight, Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain, etc.). For Disneyland Park's 30th, I know there's some clamor within the team that they want to work on New/"Old" Discoveryland (and finally chuck out Hyperspace Mountain), so we can make that a focal point for the 30th.
For the Studios' 20th, the main focal points are the new Frozen land and the lakeside area (since Avengers Campus is set to open next year, pre-COVID at least). I'm not sure if I'm alone with this or not, but I'm clamoring for more atmosphere and placemaking in WDSP, so a Buena Vista Street-style thoroughfare (let's call it Sunset Boulevard) to the lake area is welcome in lieu of the Tuilleries Garden-style that Imagineering is apparently going for. I also personally think it's time the Studios receive its own Toy Story Mania in Toy Story Playland, which I think we can place where Cars: Route 66 Road Trip would be (and just make it a cute Easter egg in the game or something). Maybe Runaway Railway as well (with the Carthay Circle Theatre facade), and place it where the Animation Celebration building stands today as part of the Sunset Boulevard expansion.
Entertainment Offerings
Parades and Nighttime Spectaculars
Paris definitely has a 5-year formula when it comes to entertainment. Every 5 years, some of the current entertainment line-up (particularly the ones that debuted in an anniversary year) gets swapped out for something new. For example, Disney Dreams!, which debuted for the 20th anniversary, got swapped out for Disney Illuminations for the 25th (I'm slightly salty about that, tbh. Dreams! > Illuminations). Most recently, Paris entertainment just confirmed that Disney Stars on Parade, the 25th Anniversary parade, will be swapped out for something new for the 30th. So, definitely those two types of entertainment are up in the air for Disneyland Park. Maybe introduce a new-ish nighttime parade as well while we're at it?

In the Studios, they usually don't run a daily parade (except for certain occasions; Magical Pride and the Disney FanDaze cavalcades comes to mind) and the current nighttime show (Star Wars: A Galactic Celebration) is seasonal if I recall correctly. If they're really amping the Studios' entertainment game beyond Mickey and the Magician and the Production Courtyard shows, the 20th is the perfect chance to do so. The new lake area
Theatrical Shows
Paris also has an abundance of theatres in both parks. In Disneyland Park, there are 3 (technically 4, including the Central Hub since the Partners statue is in WDSP): the Castle Stage (and its infamous mini-revolving platform), Frontierland Theater, and Videopolis. In the Studios, there are 2 (technically 4 including Stitch Live and Disney Junior Dream Factory): the Animagique Theater (home to Mickey and the Magician) and the Studio Theater (home to the seasonal Marvel Super Heroes United and some film sneak peeks, most recently Frozen II, but it usually sits empty for most of the year). Paris has been killing it with their theatre offerings recently (see Jungle Book Jive and Rhythms of the Pride Lands), so we can continue that trend for the anniversary stage shows. Also, the 25th anniversary introduced the Grand Celebration in the Central Hub of Disneyland Park, which I believe is the best castle stage show ever done for an anniversary, so we might want to continue that.
Food and Dining and Merchandise
I think this is where Paris falls flat compared to the other parks. In terms of food and dining, I find it ironic that for a park set in France a.k.a. Food and Dining Central, DLP is lacking in this department for some reason. To be honest, the 25th Anniversary food offerings looks meh, but the snacks look amazing though if not run-of-the-mill. For merchandise, it's kinda a hit-or-miss as well.
We should definitely take several pages out of Tokyo's book for these things.
