What sort of ideas do y’all have about things we should add/ change for the celebration?
Enhancements/Expansions
One of the focal points of the 25th Anniversary and beyond was Project Sparkle, a multi-phased guest experience enhancement program that plussed 10 attractions (Big Thunder Mountain, Peter Pan's Flight, Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain, etc.). For Disneyland Park's 30th, I know there's some clamor within the team that they want to work on New/"Old" Discoveryland (and finally chuck out Hyperspace Mountain), so we can make that a focal point for the 30th.

For the Studios' 20th, the main focal points are the new Frozen land and the lakeside area (since Avengers Campus is set to open next year, pre-COVID at least). I'm not sure if I'm alone with this or not, but I'm clamoring for more atmosphere and placemaking in WDSP, so a Buena Vista Street-style thoroughfare (let's call it Sunset Boulevard) to the lake area is welcome in lieu of the Tuilleries Garden-style that Imagineering is apparently going for. I also personally think it's time the Studios receive its own Toy Story Mania in Toy Story Playland, which I think we can place where Cars: Route 66 Road Trip would be (and just make it a cute Easter egg in the game or something). Maybe Runaway Railway as well (with the Carthay Circle Theatre facade), and place it where the Animation Celebration building stands today as part of the Sunset Boulevard expansion.

Entertainment Offerings
Parades and Nighttime Spectaculars

Paris definitely has a 5-year formula when it comes to entertainment. Every 5 years, some of the current entertainment line-up (particularly the ones that debuted in an anniversary year) gets swapped out for something new. For example, Disney Dreams!, which debuted for the 20th anniversary, got swapped out for Disney Illuminations for the 25th (I'm slightly salty about that, tbh. Dreams! > Illuminations). Most recently, Paris entertainment just confirmed that Disney Stars on Parade, the 25th Anniversary parade, will be swapped out for something new for the 30th. So, definitely those two types of entertainment are up in the air for Disneyland Park. Maybe introduce a new-ish nighttime parade as well while we're at it? 😉 The new Christmas parade (debuting this year I think) will be night-ready according to entertainment operations and it would've been a decade since a nighttime parade (Fantillusion, if you're wondering) ran the parade route.

In the Studios, they usually don't run a daily parade (except for certain occasions; Magical Pride and the Disney FanDaze cavalcades comes to mind) and the current nighttime show (Star Wars: A Galactic Celebration) is seasonal if I recall correctly. If they're really amping the Studios' entertainment game beyond Mickey and the Magician and the Production Courtyard shows, the 20th is the perfect chance to do so. The new lake area (IP Showcase Lagoon) should provide us a brand new staging area, where we can use the tech of HarmonioUS and Epcot Forever and the story of World of Color: Celebrate! for a brand-new nighttime show. The current stage in the Production Courtyard (plus the Tower of Terror's projectors) could remain for additional outdoor day and night entertainment.

Theatrical Shows
Paris also has an abundance of theatres in both parks. In Disneyland Park, there are 3 (technically 4, including the Central Hub since the Partners statue is in WDSP): the Castle Stage (and its infamous mini-revolving platform), Frontierland Theater, and Videopolis. In the Studios, there are 2 (technically 4 including Stitch Live and Disney Junior Dream Factory): the Animagique Theater (home to Mickey and the Magician) and the Studio Theater (home to the seasonal Marvel Super Heroes United and some film sneak peeks, most recently Frozen II, but it usually sits empty for most of the year). Paris has been killing it with their theatre offerings recently (see Jungle Book Jive and Rhythms of the Pride Lands), so we can continue that trend for the anniversary stage shows. Also, the 25th anniversary introduced the Grand Celebration in the Central Hub of Disneyland Park, which I believe is the best castle stage show ever done for an anniversary, so we might want to continue that.

Food and Dining and Merchandise
I think this is where Paris falls flat compared to the other parks. In terms of food and dining, I find it ironic that for a park set in France a.k.a. Food and Dining Central, DLP is lacking in this department for some reason. To be honest, the 25th Anniversary food offerings looks meh, but the snacks look amazing though if not run-of-the-mill. For merchandise, it's kinda a hit-or-miss as well.

We should definitely take several pages out of Tokyo's book for these things.

This is kinda an off the shelf idea but I’m gonna put it out there anyway.

I think Paris’s Tower of Terror should be re-themed for three reasons.

1. Re-theming an existing attraction brings crowds and isn’t as costly as creating a new attraction.
2. Currently, Paris’s ToT is a clone of Florida’s and I want to keep the tradition of each ToT being unique.
3. The twilight zone isn’t popular anymore.

I live for nighttime parades so we definitely need one for this celebration. Whether it's a new one or bringing over an old one, doesn't matter to me but one is needed for sure.

And I agree that some sort of World of Colour-esque show needs to go on that lake. We would be crazy to just leave it there

Current concept art shows ToT is staying as is as it isn't in Avengers Campus

And it's not quite a clone of Florida's as the building is a clone of California's was (no interior dark ride moving part) and a whole new story was introduced just last year so that it has a different take on it compared to Florida's!

I had no idea about the new story! That’s super cool. I just brought that up as an option because of that parks low amount of attractions.

Paris’ Tower of Terror has three new storylines that branch off from the original one, all involving the Little Girl from the Library video. I’m on my phone now (as it’s 3 AM where I’m at and I have to get up at 7:30 😬), but the Tower of Terror Wikipage and sneaky POV videos on Youtube are your friends if you want to see how it looks like now. 😀 It’s definitely more unsettling and scarier, IMHO.

The new story is definitely scarier now. I have read up on it and watched a few POV's and, wow. I am not messing around with that lmao

I don't have much familiarity with this kind of prompt, but what if we added some interactivity with the Play Disney App? Maybe there could be "party souvenirs" guests can find using the app in a Pokemon Go style VR? Then they'd be encouraged to go around the park looking for these special tokens that they can cash in for prizes.

Disneyland Paris doesn't have the Play Disney app (as far as I am aware) so we could add the implementation of that into the whole celebration event?

Speaking of scary stuff, should we also cover the seasonal events coinciding with the anniversary celebrations (Halloween, Christmas, etc.), @mickeyfan5534?
Absolutely! DLRP did a great job at tying Christmas into their 25th (less so for Halloween but that's a conversation for later). And absolutely, create something that can rival Jungle Book Jive and Pirate or Princess: Make Your Choice on those hub stages if you go for that route

Currently, there are 9 of us. Mickeyfan has mentioned that this should be more a focus on the entertainment side that expansions per se.

Because of that, I would like no more than 3 working on the expansions while the rest are working on parades, shows, fireworks, merchandise, etc.

If you really want to work on expansions over entertainment, let us know sooner than later before the spots fill!

If we go with Runaway Railroad, maybe have it be apart of a Toontown retheme to Toon Studios.

I think I'd rather work on park enhancements as well. I'd really like to see Discoveryland get some work done.

If you guys want a song again, I can again offer my services for that as well. I make no promises about quality, and I'll probably need someone to help me with lyrics, but it's another different thing we could look into doing.

A "theme" song for the anniversary would be outstanding! If it is as catchy as Everything's Super though I am never getting it out of my head so that's a risk...
