Team Heroes - Stanza V: Patch 'Em Up

As we get into the dog days of this project - just keep in mind:

If you haven't had much progress....don't fret. Same thing happened last year. This is intended by the hosts to be an unorthodox round, so the same rules of progress that apply to the team vs team based rounds are thrown out the window.

That being said, for Holiday World, that is where our resources could be best allocated at the moment - since it's hit a bit of a wall, and folks seem to be a bit busy.

@OutboundFlight has done a fantastic job holding down the fort - but if anyone else can join in that brainstorming it would help.

Also @FireMountain where are you? I haven't seen you message much in the threads but have been online - get to it! Holiday World needs your help.

Here are the 4 brainstorming threads for our 4 parks - these threads are where the park-specific brainstorming will take place.

Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk

HersheyPark

Holiday World

Silver Dollar City

We can all see what everyone is doing, and everyone's progress.

We then use this thread as the 'main hub' and bring the project together into one cohesive unit here after the brainstorming is complete.
@DisneyManOne @Brer Oswald -- you guys assigned to a park yet?

Let's hear from you!

I am, but I’m very confused on the layout and structure of this project. Is it done in PMs? Is it done in public topics? Are our teams gone?
It is done in public threads. We have all been combined into one team called Team Heroes. Our task is that we need to upgrade 4 parks. Our Project Manager is @James G. We split into 4 subteams. Your park is Holiday World (thread)You should read over the thread and give out some ideas.

PROJECT RECAP - SATURDAY FEB 16TH
americana-logo-png.350454

The essence of the project as it stands is as follows:

In our alternate history timeline, The 'Americana Enertrainment Group' has essentially partnered with these family-owned parks and will transition them into more well-themed vacation destinations.

The Americana Entertainment Group would bring Americana 1900 into the SAU - a park project by @James G. and artwork by @D Hindley from years past.
americana-1900-map-smaller-yet-jpg.201384

Work is being done in each of the sub-threads regarding the 4 parks. Just remember we're combining this into ONE project.

Which means...IF you are worried about the amount of work for this project....then...
12301345_1490769391225819_1349939992_n.jpg

- The content in each park does not have to be long. People have been questioning the timeline of this project. Well it's shorter for a reason. You're not writing a novel for each park. You're providing short, succinct explanations for the enhancements to each park.

- For the final presentation, we'll be combining it to either a site (or simply here) to organize each component into one. @OutboundFlight will also be providing a video summary as part of the project that I'm looking forward to! I think that'll tie everything together well.

- If you're hardpressed to think of anything - say so, but at the same time, call on others to help. Try to formulate your own ideas, and if you can't...tag along and help others who have formulated their concepts...and provide the artwork for them or something of that nature. Artwork is something you don't need knowledge of the topic to complete -- just a description from those who do.

Will tag everyone here so we are all on the same page

Here is the link to the frame story so far. It's not done, but I wanted you all to get a change to look at it and hopefully understand what I'm think of and how your parks fit into it. Please share your thoughts with me. It's not done, and still need both careful proofreading, editing and changes, but it's a start.

I'll be gone most of Saturday until later evening and the same Sunday, but keep working, keep brainstorming, and if you're park is coming along well and you can stick your nose into another park that might need some assistance, PLEASE do so! We all are relying on everyone else to make this work, to help us out and to lift us up...ok, sorry, too early in the morning for more inspirational talk. See you soon!!
I've finished the first draft of the frame story, and it appears that none of the Heroes has liked it 😕. I hope that means you're all working so hard on your parks that you haven't had time to read it. Please do so and give me some feedback. I do have an idea for a postscript, a bit of humor based on the preliminary story. If you didn't read it yet, here's the link:

This postscript might be a fun way to wrap up the presentation while poking fun at the Villains (something that's always fun for a hero to do!).

That was so fun and exciting! The only thing I want to say is that we need a LONG reading music video because our project is going to stack up.
I'm heading for bed, but instead of one long reading music section how about four shorter ones, one for each theme park. Example, beach music for Santa Cruz and holiday music for Holiday World.

You putting your last name threw me off lol. But keep it! We want team villains to be thrown off any chance we get!
