While we're waiting, I think we need to come up with a general idea of how to present this, sort of a "mission statement" for us to agree on. I think we need to establish a reason for this team to be working on these four parks (whichever we finally choose) at once. If we can't think of a reason, we need to create a reason. This is just something that came to me when all that caffeine hit my brain. Bear with me. You might have seen or heard about me creating a huge theme park resort called Americana, which in my universe is an independent theme park resort so popular that it routinely beats Universal in attendance (it's my fantasy place, so just stay with me here). How about we announce that the Americana Resort and these four independent parks have created an alliance called- yes- "The Americana Theme Park Alliance" (or some other name), where each park is totally independent but they all work together to promote each other and recognize each other's Season Passes (or give a big discount for admission, or something). They work together, promoting each other nationally. Most of these parks are far away from each other, so there would be no intruding on each others core market, yet they could pretty much blanket the nation with promotions. I'm a Cedar Point guy, and Cedar Fair's Platinum Pass gets you into any Cedar Fair park regardless of where you got your pass. It's a great promotional tool, and having some sort of Association where the parks remain independent yet work together for the "common good" might be a good way to unite these totally different parks. This is just one idea- I'm sure there are others out there.
