Team Durango Brainstorming Thread - Project Four: Kungalooshing the Night Away

Okay, so here are the jobs:

Goofy and I were talking earlier. Goofy will be taking Yhonsburg. Belmont, Hugeon, and Rowen are already completed. We still have three more houses to fill in though. And then once we finish outlining the story, we’ll get to the presentation and project development itself.

Please contribute to the Google Doc with new characters, backstory, and events. I have set up a wip timeline for the four hour event on the Doc and will post a more formal proposal later in the day.

3 Houses, more details on storyline, more info on the rooms with concept art... I think the Houses need to be done today or tomorrow so we can focus on storyline and rooms for the next two-ish days and have enough time to make a great presentation

So I was surprised with a random day off tomorrow that I wasn’t planning for, so hit me with something big, I’ll need something to bide my time and I haven’t creatively written since Mines of Moria, so it’s time for me to step my game up and show why I deserve to stay

Feel free to take a house or two and come up with few characters for each of them! You can check out the google doc, specifically under House Belmont, to get a grasp of the scale of those houses.

I’ll take one house and do some art as well! In the meantime, Are the characters actors, puppets, animatronics or a mix?

Almost all of them will be actors. We can add puppets and animatronics for the magical side of the castle, but the characters will be "real".

Outbound, what did you think of my Yohnsburg characters?

They look great! Love the intrigue between the Archbishop and the Minister. What would the confrontation look like?

I think the conflict could come from the Archbishop's niece spilling the beans about the Minister openly opposing the marriage to a Rowen that acts like they have an in with Jory, which results in the Minister getting angry at the Archbishop, with an outburst that leads to the Archbishop leaving, hurt, to return to his people.
