Here's my writeup for the bridges:

Spirit's Hollow Passageway:

DL_Expansion_Pathway.PNG

Guests find a pathway leading out behind Critter Country heading into the woods. The entrance of this pathway has arrow signs with "Spirit's Hollow" on them. The pathway curves to the left and heads up an incline as the trees become more dense.

The artificial hill leads to a covered bridge over a body of water dubbed "Crescent Lake" that serves as the divider between Spirit's Hollow and Critter Country. Hills on either side of the bridge block views of the roadway underneath as guests seamlessly transistion to the new expansion.

Once across the covered bridge, the path moves to the right and slighly snakes down another hill to Spirit's Hollow.

DCA Expansion Pathway:

A new geological disturbance has taken place outside of Pixar Pier! Strange noises and the slight smell of sulphur permeate the air around this pathway leading to the new prehistoric expansion to DCA.

DCA_Expansion_Pathway.PNG

(Note: Bridge across roadways would be curved like a cave. This is just a general zone for crossing)

Directional signs at the entrance of the pathway indicate the name of the new expansion. Along the pathway, fumeroles occasionally spit out steam as the pathway climbs up a hill. As the path makes a curve to the right, A large cave appears with obvious signs of volcanic activity as guests are encouraged to explore. Once inside the cave, the pathway twists and turns with a small window of sight into the other side of the cave. The other side looks similar to the Pixar Pier side, but with significantly increased foliage matched to what archaeologists believe was growing in California at the time.

Villain’s Valley

Beyond both Spirit’s Hollow’s forest and Folktale Town’s great peaks resides a secluded corner of this expansion called Villain’s Valley. This land embodies the many stories exported from Europe that many newly American parents told their children to teach them important lessons. Unlike the fairytales we hear today, many were very gruesome and nightmare inducing. And very similarly that's what you get at Villain’s Valley.
A traditional grand European styled fortress is a landmark that encompasses most of the area (where many a gruesome figure is rumored to reside) along with a few carts selling goods to weary travelers, giving them one last delight if they are bumped off. Make sure to check out the marionette show before you leave (assuming you do)!

The Grande Marionettes

Stromboli is setting up his show within the grand fortress wall and you all will be his marionettes! Being a plussed version of the (soon to be) departed Jumpin’ Jellyfish, guests are flung up and down on the puppet master’s strings. Being indoors guests will enjoy projected visuals while the riders bounce throughout the entire room that displays visuals from Pinocchio’s “I’ve Got No Strings” ending with the villainous Stromboli turning the entire room into a cage as guests drop back to the ground to escape.

Revenge of the Villains
1629847200192.png

Guests enter the large castle that towers over Villains Valley where inside the queue depicts the tapestries of the various Disney Villains being defeated by the heroes again and again. After seeing all of this, guests enter a library preshow room where Hades (as an animatronic) brings back the souls (projection) of various Disney Villains from the underworld and grants them what ultimate power! The preshow ends and guests will board their regally evil styled trackless vehicles.

During the ride guests will meet 4 Disney Villains (each with their own room): Yzma, Frollo, Scar and Maleficent who all transform what at first seems to be ordinary castle rooms to something that more resembles what they want reality to be like. Throughout the whole ride experience a new original song named “Let Evil Reign!” that mixes each of the villains' respective “Villain Song” (Hellfire for Frollo, Snuff out the Light for Yzma, etc.) with an underlying melody that connects the whole ride experience. The ride ends with curtains being opened throughout the castle with the light coming from those windows causing all the villains to disappear in agony. Around the corner Jiminy Cricket and Tinkerbell are revealed to be behind the villain’s defeat with Jiminy Cricket reminding everyone that “Good always defeats evil” as the vehicles return back to the boarding station.

Final miniland writeup for Folktale Town!
Folktale Town
All great heroes have to come from somewhere.. and this is it! Many of the great American men like Pecos Bill, Johnny Appleseed, John Henry, Paul Bunyun, etc. are represented in Folktale Town.
The town is split into two parts: near where guests enter from the Spirit's Hollow bridge is reminiscent of the big cities during the American Revolution filled with lovely brick buildings while the other half which also serves as a Downtown Disney entrance is more reminiscent of the newer 19th century cities built just near the wilderness like Independence Missouri. But wherever you are in the land you’ll be able to see the great purple mountains that give a sense of fortitude to the whole area.

Legend of John Henry
1629849586769.png

An adventurous new dark ride based on the one of the United State’s most beloved legends of John Henry. This ride will use a brand new dark ride system where there’s multiple carts that guests ride on attached to a train (like the Calico Mine Ride) with each cart being able to move and shake independently of each other giving guests a unique experience depending on which part of the vehicle they decide to ride on.

After going through a queue inside a building that’s reminiscent of what you’d find inside a mining town, the guests board their trains. The first scene introduces John Henry who has incredible strength with his fellow coworkers admiring his many feats. But then the workers of the railroad company challenge John Henry to out work the machine or all the men will be laid off. The guest’s trains follow him through mines, across high bridges, and many more beautiful sights until they reach the desert where John Henry lays the one and only Golden Spike and passes away. The ride ends with his coworkers finishing a statue of him for people to remember him for.

Fable Falls River Ride
1629849548237.png

A charming slow boat ride that focuses on recreations of scenes from some of America’s most beloved tales. After queuing through a beautiful outdoor garden setting, guests will enter a boat at the dock which uses the same exact ride system as Storybook Land Canals at Disneyland Paris. This outdoor boat ride will include moments from Rip Van Winkle, Paul Bunyan, The Raven, Johnny Appleseed, Casey Jones, Casey at the Bat, and ending with the final scene from O Henry’s Gift of the Magi.

Any updates on how the presentation is coming? Sorry I can't help, but I want to make sure we're on track before I head out.
Here's what I have so far. Any thoughts? I'll try copy and pasting everyone else's work in but I'd appreciate any feedback or help as we approach the deadline.

Looks really nice! I like the glitter slides.

Do we still need a general description of the whole Disneyland Forward? I might be able to write up something for that.

Alright! I'm just making sure everything's in there. Communication on presentation was last-minute and I should've brought it up earlier, so please don't feel like you were abandoned.
No, I think it was collectively a group matter of us all being rushed. I wouldn't put the blame on anyone. If anyone maybe me for wanting to do a slides so hard, we could've settled for the doc. But I think when all is said and done the slide will do the finished project more justice.
