Had an interesting evening last night. We were with some dear friends who are going through the same struggles that we are at our church, and we think we've come up with a plan!
Hmmm...what's the plan?

Morning Jenny!
Sorry, had to run take a shower
The Port Authority is pretty big and can be a little overwhelming, but as long as he reads the signs he should be ok. I actually go through there on my commute twice a day so I know it pretty well. If you know what bus it is, I can see what gate it's at and maybe give him some sort of direction to help him out
well, rather than all of us leaving the church and essentially giving it to him, we plan to all nominate each other to be on Session at the next annual meeting, so we'll have more say (and we WILL say) about what goes on, and hopefully we'll drive him out of here when he realizes that he's not controlling us.Hmmm...what's the plan?
Hi/bye Streak!Hey peeps.
Show was really nice yesterday.
Different than in the past.

It's always a problem when one individual in a congregation, or even group of individuals, place themselves (spiritually) above others. We are all the same in God's eyes. The leadership should be held accountable by the members, as their actions reflect on the congregation's reputation as well as all members. They're not above anybody else. :shrug:well, rather than all of us leaving the church and essentially giving it to him, we plan to all nominate each other to be on Session at the next annual meeting, so we'll have more say (and we WILL say) about what goes on, and hopefully we'll drive him out of here when he realizes that he's not controlling us.

We discussed so many of these issues last night, and we all agree that yes he's human and entitled to make mistakes, but when he uses and alienates long-standing members of the congregation, and does not live up to the standards we expect from him, then it's time for him to go. This whole crisis with Susan's family really opened my eyes about that. If my family had to deal with what hers has to, the last person I would go to for help would be him. That's just not right for a pastor! It's always a problem when one individual in a congregation, or even group of individuals, place themselves (spiritually) above others. Doiong OK right now. I've been working on my picture things, and I for some reason I just don't like them today. I keep thinking everyone will think they're really dumb...Felt better yesterday than today.
Had a bad night's sleep last night.
But still, better than a few days ago.
Hanging in there. . .
So. . .
How are you today, Fishy?

I know - I think I'm just having one of those blue days. I figure I'm just going to pit them away for a while then take a fresh look in a few days. I'm my worst critic I know.Confidence Fishy!
(I'm a good one to talk, I know.)
But your pics are great!
Show them here. . .We'll be honest.
We have been so far.
