Sorry, had to run take a shower

The Port Authority is pretty big and can be a little overwhelming, but as long as he reads the signs he should be ok. I actually go through there on my commute twice a day so I know it pretty well. If you know what bus it is, I can see what gate it's at and maybe give him some sort of direction to help him out :)

Well it sounds like he'd have to take the LIE to Penn Station, then the subway to Port Authority, then a Greyhound home. I haven't talked to him about it yet, but it doesn't sound too bad...I think...
Right now the bus fare to get the 2 of them here and back comes to like $78 total. I can't drive there and back twice for that price. It generally takes a full tank of gas for each trip, plus $10 in tolls.

Hey peeps.

Show was really nice yesterday.
Different than in the past.

Anyways, I'm off to a float meeting.
Homecoming Floats don't build themselves.

Have a great day.

Hmmm...what's the plan?
well, rather than all of us leaving the church and essentially giving it to him, we plan to all nominate each other to be on Session at the next annual meeting, so we'll have more say (and we WILL say) about what goes on, and hopefully we'll drive him out of here when he realizes that he's not controlling us.

It's always a problem when one individual in a congregation, or even group of individuals, place themselves (spiritually) above others. We are all the same in God's eyes. The leadership should be held accountable by the members, as their actions reflect on the congregation's reputation as well as all members. They're not above anybody else.

We discussed so many of these issues last night, and we all agree that yes he's human and entitled to make mistakes, but when he uses and alienates long-standing members of the congregation, and does not live up to the standards we expect from him, then it's time for him to go. This whole crisis with Susan's family really opened my eyes about that. If my family had to deal with what hers has to, the last person I would go to for help would be him. That's just not right for a pastor!

I think the shower is free - I'm going to head out. I'll stop back in later, but I really have to get some cleaning done first. Take care!

Yay! I'm just here for a few minutes, just taking a break. Are you feeling better today?

Felt better yesterday than today.
Had a bad night's sleep last night.
But still, better than a few days ago.
Hanging in there. . .

So. . .
How are you today, Fishy?

Doiong OK right now. I've been working on my picture things, and I for some reason I just don't like them today. I keep thinking everyone will think they're really dumb...

I know - I think I'm just having one of those blue days. I figure I'm just going to pit them away for a while then take a fresh look in a few days. I'm my worst critic I know.
