Morning kids!

What a night last night...I don't want to talk about it, actually! People should just leave me alone, not insist I come over their houses and hang out.

It's such a cozy day...poor Em is acyually asleep! She had a sleepover last night and I guess she's whupped...

How's everyone doing?

Vince, I got tears in my eyes from your Castle pics.

So last night, I was finally able to see them in person, the Castle Dream Lights. I had gone to the Magic Kingdom in the late afternoon and grabbed a quick dinner at Village Haus. While eating, I completely forgot that the lights would be on at night. When I got out of the restaurant and looked up, I was completely floored and left speechless. I had not been that breath-taken since the very first time I saw Cinderella Castle. Now Disney has done some silly things in decorating that castle, including turning it into a cake and hanging a big mirror on its face. But this time, they finally got it right. They've taken the most beautiful structure in the world and made it even more beautiful than anyone could have ever imagined. It's like the feeling of seeing Cinderella step into the ball unannounced in her magnificent gown. You're just left in awe. Spending the night beside Cinderella Castle, I struggled to find ways to describe the Dream Lights. There are no words that can describe it. To be in Main Street, listening to classic Christmas carols, sipping hot chocolate, surrounded by the glow of holiday decor, and setting your eyes on the glimmering beauty of Cinderella Castle... nothing can be more magical.

Vince,
Thank you so much for posting these pics and for what you said. I am so thankful that we are able to head to WDW for Christmas this year, and I can't wait to see the lights in person and feel the magic that you so eloquently spoke of.

And after spending just 15 minutes with my mother this morning, I was reminded again exactly why we're choosing to head to Disney instead of staying here and dealing with her and her asinine comments....

How are you hanging in there, Danny?

All right, considering the circumstances.

I'm just dead tired from working another closing shift last night (though I do have it down to a science and I finished only a half-hour after public hours :D).

Unfortunately I have another shift starting in under 3 hours. Good thing it's only a 5-hour shift 'till 8. :p

I'm good, aside from the fact that my Internet's been down for 2 days, and it was probably one of the worst Mich - OSU games I've watched yesterday.
Ouch.

Then why did you start to tell us?

Glad to hear that you're doing well. :)

That's why I liked being on the day crew -- I had to open up the shop, but that's a LOT easier than closing.
