Taking Online Surveys for $

Keith - I've qualified for two light speed panel surveys since I last posted, each for 75 pts so now I have a total of 150 pts.
I was trying to look on their page and find out when you can redeem and for how much. I could not come up with it, have you found anything on that?

Look at the bottom of the page for "Points Official Rules" and then go down to Item 5 for Redemption it states:

"Panelists can redeem Lightspeed Points as a gift certificate once they have earned 600 or more Lightspeed Points. All Lightspeed Points must be redeemed online." I think you can also redeem for cash, because it says it can deposit into PayPal. I have not received but just a couple of invites and no qualifiers.

I do have 960 points out of 1000 on Global Test Market. :sohappy: I just need one more survey! Then I can get $50!

Things are going kinda slow for now. Still waiting on checks and I have not received any big surveys lately. But I thought I would go back to see when I joined certain sites and how much I have made with them since then:

These numbers are as of today and include only the credits that have shown up on my accounts. I still have some surveys that have not shown up yet. Hopefully seeing the surveys with the time I have been on them will help you see what has come from them as far as my experience.

just got a 300 point survey with lightspeed. cashed out for $5.00 paypal.
weird though, yesterday when i checked it say 600 points for $5 paypal, today when i cashed out, it said 575 points for $5 paypal. so i saved 25 points. it says i should see the desposit in 24 hours. hopefully that is true.

not sure if paypal will send a check or not. but if you have paypal, then you just request they send your money to your bank account. then once its deposited you just use it..

Cool! I have some checks processing with them as well and it says 4-8 weeks for processing and delivery. I wish the turn around on these would be better!:brick:I am still trying to get my last few points for GlobalTest Market. I am now at 970/1000 and I even completed a long survey that gave me no points I have emailed them with no response back yet . That's $50 bucks if I can just get 30 more points!

for some reason the checks take forever. i have no idea when i'll get my $12 one. but when it comes, it will be a nice surprise, because i will probably have forgotten about it.

So the Paypal works! Cool! How long have you been on the Sunshine site? Did you ever have to pay anything (other than shopping for things) for this site? I have 500 points on Lightspeed since joining a couple of weeks ago - I will have to look thru the rewards to see what they have, but the paypal sounds good because I could use that towards Disney pins!
Thanks for keeping us updated eagles! If you have not tried any of these other sites I would recommend Opinion Outpost because I have earned over $30 and only been on it 1 month. I do not think they do the paypal thing though.

i think i started sunshine in september? maybe oct. but i cashed out in november for $75 disney gift cards for our december trip.

no never paid for anything, except shopping. that is where i make most of my money. but i did a couple months of surveys where at the end of the month/beginning of month, they credit you with a bonus if you complete xx amount of surveys. so i have gotten a couple dollars that way also. the last 2 months i think for every survey you complete they will give you a .20 cent bonus.

now lately i have not been lucky and haven't received credit for some offers. in the begining i was getting credit for them all the time.

i have surveysavvy, greenpoint, surveyspot, mysurvey, your2cents and lightspeed as the ones i do now.
also mypoints.

plus i do a few of those click to read sites. i think i belong to 4 of them.


i will have to register for that other one you mentioned.

I joined Sunshine Rewards at the end of February. I have just over $10 in my account now. If you don't shop online through them the money doesn't add up too quickly, but it's still fairly steady. And if you do any shopping online, then it's a total no-brainer to shop through them whenever possible and I'm amazed at how many merchants offer coupons and cashback through them--even iTunes (not that you get much cash back on a 99-cent download :lol.

I finally received my first check from Your2Cents today! :sohappy:
It was a $10 check that I requested on 2/20/08, the site showed that it was sent on 3/28/2008 and I received it in the mail today 4/14/2008. I have two other checks that I have requested from them for $10 and $8.

The site shows Pending when you request a check and then states that it takes 4-6 weeks to receive when Sent. :hammer:

I also received my other check from ACO for $4. I will do an update later tonight.

It has drawn to an even pace regarding survey opportunities with no big cash surveys. I am probably going to cancel Focus Forward because I have not received anything from them. I am so close on Global Test Market before redeeming $50. I just joined the Epoll and Lightspeed Panel in the past week or so and have been lucky in getting a few surveys! Just today I qualified for a software testing on Lightspeed which will take about a month but will give me 2000 points if I complete it in the proper timing. This site does have the PayPal option and those points would be very close to $20. I would try the Sunshine site but I do not buy much online or offline for that matter. Good luck to all and continue to post your experiences with these sites on here.

I subscribe to Lucky magazine. I actually didn't pay for it (good thing!), but I've ended up with a two year subscription by cashing in on some frequent flyer miles I've never and will never use.

They have a program called Lucky Rewards. Nonsubscribers can sign up for 90 days, but subscribers can do this for as long as they subscribe. You just go through their site, sign up and start shopping. It's only good for online shopping.

About every 3 months, you'll get a gift card with the money you've earned. The rewards vary depending on the merchant. I've been with it since November, and I've earned about $30.

Another survey site that I had long before I read this thread is e-rewards.com.
Not sure if you are interested in it Keith.

It does not offer cash as rewards but you take surveys and build up an amount of "cash" and then you redeem it for prizes.
I have $82.00 right now. I redeemed $15 of it a while back for $15 in Borders Bucks. I also was thinking of redeeming for a free subscription to Newsweek for $25.00.
Not alot of the prizes offered on the site are things I am interested in but I will keep it around in hopes that they will add more stuff. If you are a big traveller they have things where you can cash in for airline miles and free car rentals and things.

The one nice thing about it is that every survey gives you some "cash." For example a certain survey might be for $7.00 if you qualify, so then you go to take the survey and if you are not who they are looking for they will still give you 50 cents or 75 cents etc. So each survey you are building up your balance. I have been a member of this for quite a long time. I periodically check back to see if they have added more rewards. But I buy a ton of books, so the Borders Bucks are really nice to have.

I will post an update at the beginning of next week. Hoping some of my dollars on SurveySpot will finally show up.

I will look into it! I have been waiting for some checks as well.:lol: I did receive a $33 check from Survey Spot today and my wife got a Disney Visa card today:sohappy:so we hope to take advantage of any points for Disney!

Other than that I have just been getting points here and there on some of these other sites. Nothing big of late!

I just missed a 200 point ($20) survey from Opinion Outpost! It only asked me about three questions and when I answered the last one about mailing companies it booted me out! But I did get another survey for 25 points, every bit helps.
