Epoll & Lightspeed - are prize/point systems and are hard to calculate

I have received $200.70 over the last 5 months since starting with my first survey company back in November 2007. I have about $137 more earned and soon to be on the way.

My top Three:
1) Opinion Outpost - highly recommend. You get a good supply of surveys and very good pay for each and it is updated instantly so you can see what you have earned.
2) My Survey - love the organization of this site as well with instantly updated points and regular surveys.
3) SurveySpot - if you can get into the bigger surveys it definitely pays but there are many non paying surveys as well. Just take as many as you can and hopefully you will get some of the bigger cash surveys.

I redeemed and it said the order will be shipped to my address.

Why is something being shipped? Shouldn't it just go on my paypal account?

Same thing I was thinking when I requested mine. Actually, the next business day it should go thru to your PayPal account and then PayPal will email you a link for you to click on and verify and then it will be there!

I have had a couple of 500 point surveys from Lightspeed lately and one had an error and bumped me out and another I finished but never saw any points. I have emailed them and have heard nothing on the first problem and only that I would receive my points in 4 - 6 weeks on the other because it was some kind of online forum survey :veryconfu We will see.

How are you coming on the other sites Shere Khan?

Regarding LightspeedPanel and PayPal credits: It took almost a week for my $5 PayPal credit to show up and I believe it has something to do with changes to PayPal. Anyway, just wanted to post that info.

Also, I have had a lot of trouble with survey errors lately and have not been able to re-enter or complete a few of them. I emailed some of the sites and have had no luck in any resolution of them, but I have been pleased with the response from each of them. So I guess some surveys just have a glitch! :veryconfu

I cancelled my account with Epoll the other night because I was not getting anything from them and the point system was scaled too high for the not-so-good rewards. I redeemed my points for a charity and then cancelled the account.

Your2Cents.com - $3.00. Have barely received anything from them and when I do I never qualify.

Great to hear! I echo your thoughts on the above sites. Although I have had a rough time lately with Opinion Outpost - I have lost or had some weird errors with some recent surveys and received nada! I lost out on about $7. Anyway I do love that site and the Lightspeed Panel site. I am looking for another site to try here soon. Survey Savvy is really slow in my opinion also as well as Your2cents! I am hoping to redeem what I have from them and might cancel from at least Your2cents.

I am interested if anyone else has tried Opinion Outpost and had the same luck that Shere Khan and I have had...:lookaroun

It tells you how many surveys you have been offered and how many you have qualified for. I have qualified for 10 out of the 29 surveys I have been offered.

About 35%

I check my sites a couple of times a day to make sure I get a shot at each one. I have gotten a lot of Global surveys lately including one I just got tonight that I completed for 50 points and I will get a follow up in about a week for another 60 and then I might get 6 more every few days or something and it said that after all that is done I will have 500 points! That's equivalent to $25 on that site. I have a couple other irons in the fire and hope they come thru for some decent money. These sites seem to cycle thru every couple of months. I am seeing more here lately after not getting much of anything.

I just completed a body wash survey in which they sent me body wash to try. They say they are sending me ten dollars for completing it.

I am not sure which site it was from now, I can't remember. I am guessing survey spot.
Remember Keith that one that we were talking about earlier and you said you got kicked out of it (probably because your a man). Now I forget the site it came from.

Edit: Actually I went back to our convo and it was from MySurvey.com. It did not say it was giving me the points on my account, just that they would send me my cash prize of ten dollars. Not bad considering.

I knew I should of been a woman for that survey! :lol: It is good to hear that things are showing up for you. I also received a credit card/spending survey from American Consumer Opinion which, if it comes thru, I will get a month long survey every couple of months for $10/ survey. It stated that it would be just a couple of minute input each day for a month. These are the kind that we really need to get to regularly pull in some money.

Also, I have been getting more surveys from American Consumer and completed a couple $4 ones. So that site maybe just took some time to get rolling.

Everything your reporting time-wise has been very similar to my experience. So hang in there and by next month ACO should open up for you. My family also did a 4 day long snack intake survey for ACO and will be getting $8 for as well as a chance to win some gift certificates. I just do not like the ACO site because it gives no indication of what you have taken or what is on its way.

There are other surveys I have taken that have not shown up for small amounts and some that said that they would be a continual reward as I take them over the next couple of months. So we will see how that goes.

I have unusually been receiving more surveys from American Consumer Opinion and actually been qualifing! This site is starting to heat up, hopefully the same will happen for you. Also another hot one has been Global Test Market. I have been getting a bunch of surveys, but only qualifying for a few. But the points do add up. I still have not received my first $50 check from them yet. Good luck with your surveys!

P.S. So how did the body wash go? Any skin rashes or anything? :lol:

Body wash went ok. I only used it a few times to wash my hands with though just so I could get the scent and feel. Still not comfortable using it all over. I know I am weird.

I am not sure. I think if you have a bank account associated with your paypal you can have it transfered. I am saving up to buy more pins on Ebay! :sohappy: I have $10 so far and was waiting for some more points to show up thru some other surveys I had done.

I finally received my first payment from Global Test Market $50 bucks for 1000 points. It took just over 5 weeks to get after requesting. Also received a check from Opinion Ooutpost. Your2cents is still soooo slow on payment - my latest requests are almost exceeding 2 months!

I have also been getting and taking some lightspeed panel surveys and building up almost 400 points.

I've only ever qualified for one on Global and have never qualified for a paid survey on Survey Spot. So I finally got frustrated enough with Survey Spot yesterday that I went ahead and removed myself from the panel. I'll stick with Global though since they don't flood my Inbox with surveys I can't qualify for. I'm guessing that maybe because I'm at work all day and often can't jump on the surveys for several hours after they hit my mailbox that it affects how many I can actually qualify for.

Global took awhile to get going for me as well. Hang in there. Survey Spot on the other hand has slowed way down for me. The only thing I can figure is that I have not been on top of every survey like I did to start and I have only completed about two for a few dollars each here recently. I would recommend trying both MySurvey and OpinionOutpost as they offer regular surveys and good incentives as well as have a great site that shows you your balance of points and survey history. Try these and see what happens! Good luck!
