Keith - have you tried American Consumer Opinion or NPD Survey Panel yet?

I was going through the ones on that top ten list from the link you posted about online paid surveys. I just signed up for ACP, and was thinking about signing up for NPD. It couldn't hurt to be a member of all of them could it?

I have been on ACO but unlike opinion polls I have read I have only received a few screeners and no follow ups! I am thinking about signing up for a few more since I have not been getting much traffic from these other sites lately. I have received a bunch of surveys but did not qualify because they were on drinking (I do not) and medical issues (have very few) so I will wait until other stuff circulates back around. And you are right it doesn't hurt to be on multiple so you hopefully get a better flow of surveys.

Quick Update: A lot of the survey credits showed on my Survey Spot account. I have requested two more checks, $25 and $23. And I did receive some more surveys on video games for my kids on Your2Cents and have requested the $10 from those. Also I am waiting on another $10 from them and from MySurvey! After that I am only expecting another $50 or so. Let me know if you sign up for any new ones and I can list you as a referral as well.

Keith I qualified for a 500 point survey on MySurvey.com and got the points for it. I am really close to 1,000 now!

I have been working these surveys for almost 4 months.
So here is an update regarding if there is any $ in these surveys:

So when the other checks come in I will have $125 for Disney and I have about $84 I am trying to get from the sites but I have to get to cetain points or amounts before I can redeem. So overall I guess you could say I have earned about $209 in these past four months. And I hope to earn this much in another 4 months. So I am aiming for $450 before I go on vacation.

Also, I am hoping to win a cash prize which would be cool!

Yes that is why it is good for me. I sit at a desk all day. I of course do my work, but if I check my email frequently and if I ever get a survey invitation, I will take 10 minutes or so to complete it. (Then I don't get in too much trouble at work!)

My status on surveys so far is not quite as good as Keith's. But I did just start.
I would say I have been a member of them for at least 3 weeks now.

Mysurvey.com - 820/1000 pts - Once I hit 1000 I get $10.00
SurveySpot.com - I have gotten $6 in qualifying surveys but they have not shown up on my account yet.

All the others I have yet to qualify for anything.
I am going to go sign up for Opinion Outpost today.

I am going to go sign up for Opinion Outpost today.

I hope this site stays active for me. I signed up the other day and did all the initial surveys for my account and the very next morning received 3 surveys and I qualified for 2. Then today I went onto the site and saw that I had an available survay and I qualified. For 3 surveys I have $6.60. That is very good considering that I have taken 3 out of 4 surveys. I can requested the money after the $5.00 mark but I am waiting to see if any other surveys become available.

On another note: I have been going into my sites the past couple of days just to check in and have been answering all surveys onthe sites and/or thru emails and since I have started receiving a lot more paid surveys. So I guess this type of activity is indeed good to do!

Another Update:

Just to update anyone who may be looking into this survey stuff:

I have received two more checks: $10 from MySurvey and $23 from SurveySpot. Updated total of money received = $ 105

It has definitely paid off checking into my survey sites on a regular basis. As I mentioned in the previous post I beleive it encourages the sites to send more your way. (Just a theory!)

The good news is that the American Consumer Opinion site which was highly recommended by the survey site has finally started sending me some surveys and I have actually qualified and taken some. Within two days time I received 3 surveys and qualified for two and I am supposed to be receiving checks for $4 and $7 in the mail. As far as I can tell this site sends you checks after each completed survey instead of building an account online.

Other good news is the Opinion Outpost survey site that I just signed up for back on 3-13-2008 has given me 6 surveys and I have qualified/completed 4 surveys for a total of $16.70. The pay on those surveys is great. The biggest tip I can give on this site is check the site regularly to see if you have any surveys, because I have not received any emails from them I have just seen the available surveys on the site.

One negative I have is on the Your2Cents site where I requested $10 on 2-20-08 and another $10 on 3-10-08 and the site continues to say "Pending". I have even emailed the company asking about the length of time and is that normal for this site and still have not received any correspondence back after a week. I am going to try to call them next and see what happens.

Encouragement: I just completed another SurveySpot survey and it stated that my account would be credited in the next 4-6 weeks. So be patient and as you get past your first month things should start showing up on your accounts. I was almost ready to quit certain sites after a month or so and then I started seeing the stuff show up on my accounts. So hang in there and keep answering those surveys! If your like me I am excited about every penny towards Disney since Every penny I make from my regular job barely pays the bills!

It seems you qualify for more surveys then I do. But slowly I am getting some. Most of my sites still show me at zero though. But once again I think I started this in the mid-end of February so I am trying to be patient.
I think my problem is that I am just not that interesting! LOL. I am white, no kids, not married, don't own a house, etc. All of the Opinion Outpost surveys I have gotten were regarding mortgages (which I don't have). But I have qualified for some on other sites so I am just going to be patient. And besides, it is not like I am paying for it, and I do it mostly while at work so it's not really time out of my personal life.
Anyways, I will let you know when my money starts showing up.

Yes, $105 so far. I started with SurveySavvy in late November I believe and then added more survey sites later in Dec. and Jan.

I think my problem is that I am just not that interesting!

You sound like me! But surveys have opened up even for me. :lol:

I have recently done a cough drop/medicine survey, home repair/remodeling, non-alcoholic beverage and restaurant surveys.

I still have not seen any credit from Survey Savvy as far as a referral survey, but I will keep you posted.

Sorry to hear that, have you been answering straight or trying to get into the survey? On the positive side is that you are getting cash opportunities. Hang in there!

In some surveys I think that they are after certain people/situations but after answering I realize most of it was a front. For instance, I just took a survey where they asked me what kind of stores have I shopped in in the last 4 weeks. They listed many big stores, etc and then what seemed like an after thought they listed convenience stores. Well I listed Convenience Stores with some of the others and then survery let me in and it was about shopping at convenience stores and about a specific food item that would be sold there.

Also wanted to update the thread about Your 2cents:
I called the number today and left a message. This guy returned my call later and he stated that it takes 6 - 8 weeks to receive your check. He said that it shows PENDING until it ships out. I just wondered because other sites show a progression to keep you updated. It is very funny as I just checked the site and my first request said SENT as of today! :lol: I also got a $5 survey from them this morning and just requested $8 from this site.

I have followed this thread for the last couple of weeks. Nice job New2WDW making money for Disney! :sohappy: I joined SurveySpot a while back and have made a few bucks. I have an upcoming trip in October so I am trying to raise a little extra cash too.

Another site that I visit that I didn't see mentioned here is TreasureTrooper.com. (http://www.treasuretrooper.com) You can earn money for doing surveys and such, but the part I like most is earning cashback on online purchases you make. I did a lot of my Christmas shopping (at major online retailers) through the site and ended up earning $34 cashback. I do the surveys now and again too and have made about $30 on that.
