I never played much baseball, but have heard of your Toronto ballteam. They won a few championships back in the day if I remember correct. Won one against Philly, and got lucky in the other one.
This is sounding like a fun trip. Am following along. Don't worry about your mini-putt drought. I feel your pain too when I'm playing steep competition. Have a safe trip, and am looking forward to learning about Pigeon Fort!
Even Jane Fonda and her fake prayers couldn’t help that “other” team in 1992.
And as for the mini putt failures, I’m chalking up my first loss to playing on a broken leg; and the second to being a mere 5 weeks away from a total hip replacement.
When I lose this time, I’ll have zero excuses … aside from the simple fact that I stink at mini golf, and my competitors are both better.
I’ll keep you posted how the game unfolds. It’s a 15 day trip, maybe “games” plural.
Hopefully we don’t get a ticket for being on the road overnight.

It’s a long way to the border when you cross in Windsor. It’s also an incredibly boring stretch of the 401! But yay, we are en route.

Having spent most of my life in New England, I never gave a damn one way of the other. When I was a kid, however, I was born and raised in northern New York State and during the 50's and early 60's I was a complete and total fan of the Yankees. What a team that was.Having been born and raised in The Bronx, I love it when the Red Sox lose.

I'm having flashbacks to a month ago when we were driving to/from Florida. The drive is not my favorite part... I can't imagine hauling a huge trailer behind when going through cities.

I don’t enjoy it either.
It’s raining hard and the wind has picked up. Lucky for us, we’re at a scheduled rest station stop.
Bonus to driving with a trailer is that we can only park with the big rigs. No one can box us in.
… Now to brave the rain to bid adieu to a large Timmie’s.
