I'm up for working on flat rides for the Shire.

My earlier post was just to generally say that I'd work on the Shire, but if we're dividing these up into specific portions, I think I may focus more on the flat rides at the moment, and maybe do the land description if no one else wants to claim that.

So I think we should do this a little differently where everyone is pretty new to these types of comps. We’re gonna do it in the classic way of everybody claims some things and works on them that way. I have compiled our main list of things we talked about. We can add/subtract to it, but in the meantime, feel free to claim things. More than one person can work together on something as well.

In terms of projects, is it like the weekly challenges? I’m also wondering if the water ride could make for a presentation or a well formatted post.

@Outbound let me know if you need any help with the presentation! I'm workshopping some ideas for flat rides in the Shire and dining in Moria but I don't want to officially claim those bc there are still people needing things to do.

Have you considered making the great eagle a Flight of the Hippogriff type family coaster.

What if we did it like the Pteranodon Fliers at Jurassic Park over the Park. Just make them a little stronger so they can hold more weight. Use a ski-lift mechanism.

We don’t really have any chill relaxing rides in an area that should be relatively chill (especially the Shire). Could be a neat way to solve the Pteranodon Fliers issue and add some immersive theming

Great! The presentation method I'm going for works best when only one person is compiling it, but you can help a lot by creating advertisements (just no Fozzie Bear lol) or other things you'd expect to find in a magazine, which I can plop in for extra immersion.

That's a great idea! Making it a coaster would help with spinning not being redundant... I wonder if @DashHaber has any ideas for how that could fit the theme of Hobbits celebrating the defeat of Sauron?
I'll do some research on that for the moment, along with ideas for the flat rides. Sorry if it's a little quiet from me at the moment, but I should have some ideas by early tomorrow, maybe tonight.

@Outbound and I are apparently working on the LotR river ride so I’m wondering what I should be doing at the moment? Would this attraction benefit from a Google Docs presentation or a forum post? I’m also going to need some more info on the story aspects.

So the way we present is we all write our projects and compile them into one thing. Outbound is doing a flipbook, so what you’ll do is write up the ride in a google doc or something similar and once it’s finished, it’ll get copied and pasted over into the final project. Don’t worry about making your doc look presentable or anything, it’s just the place to write it. It’ll be fine tuned in the final flipbook
