NO! Kim was one of my #2 coming in! As you have been able to tell, I LOVE Kim Spradlin. Disappointing, but I actually saw this one coming almost the entire episode. I said before the EoE challenge that Kim was going home. As soon as she started targeting Tony, I knew it. So while it was heartbreaking, I had almost an entire episode to prepare myself for it.
- Sarah: I will stay calm. Also Sarah: YOU ******* SUNK MY GAME!
- Once again, the EoE challenge was underwhelming. I don't want to watch people run and gather meaningless items for 10 minutes. But Natalie is a beast. It's too bad she was the first boot.
- Why drop for food? I never get that. In the old days, it was a little easier, as alliances usually stayed solid... but even then. In today's game, you should never drop for good.
- Tony winning three straight immunities... granted this one was a little bit easier with food bribing and a male and female winning, but that's pretty surprising for him!
- Nick is not cut out for this season. He seemed down to get Tony... then he drops and Tony automatically wins immunity. I know he said he was slipping, but I'm not sure if I buy that. Then when Tony confronts him he comes up with that response?! I cringed very hard at that.
- Ben trying to sneak the idol away from Tony. I don't fault him for that. But when Tony catches you, play it off a lot cooler! Say it was a knee-jerk reaction from his time in HHH. Something!
- The Return of the Whispering. At least they provided captions tonight. But still not a fan.
- Are we going to get another advantagegeddon? Tony and Ben both with idols. Jeremy or Michele will have the 50/50 advantage. Someone will win immunity at 6. That leaves one other person. Honestly... it would be kind of poetic if Sarah was sent to the Edge that way after being part of it in Game Changers. Not saying I want it to happen, but it would be a full circle story for Sarah. EDIT - Just realized my math doesn't add up for it to be at 6. It would have to be at 5.
- Wouldn't it have been smarter for Jeremy, Kim, Michele, Denise, and Nick to gang up on Ben? Michele wants Jeremy to stay. Jeremy hates Ben. Kim can't vote Tony anymore. Denise seems mostly aligned with Jeremy/Kim/Michele. And Nick tags on with the group of four between him, Michele, Denise, and Kim. Doesn't that seem smarter and easier than Michele praying the coin flip works? They just gave Tony even more power.
- They seem to have waited too long to target Tony. A lot of that is due to Tony's fantastic ability to lay low for the beginning of this game. But how do you not target Tony? I get he had Sarah, and Sarah had Sophie. But Tony was near or at the level of Rob, Parvati, Sandra, etc. at the start of the game. How has he gotten this far? And now he's unleashed his bag of tricks, which makes him nearly invincible with all of these immunities. Granted, nobody could have predicted he'd be immune three votes in a row.
- I think it's pretty clear that Tony, Jeremy, or Sarah is going to win this game. I just can't see Ben, Nick, Michele, or Denise winning at this point. Denise had a flashy move, but that was pre-merge. Pre-merge doesn't count hardly at all when you get to the end. Michele has done a nice job, but she hasn't done enough yet. I just hope the three make it far, and it doesn't become obvious during the finale. Obvious finales are not fun.
