Fun fact: an immunity idol was placed on the podium in an episode of Survivor South Africa, which Adam has watched.

Also, that entire podium Adam tried his move on is now on Ghost Island. Someone will have to lug the entire thing to a future tribal council. ;)
I said I think Jeff should have to throw the podium in the fire.

Also, Jeff said in his weekly interview with Dalton Ross that they have never hid anything at Tribal. They fear the players would tear the set apart. He says that's not likely to change.

You can say what you want about Adam, but he was a great character this season. He swung big, even if he missed. I don't blame him for trying the idol. I would have blamed him had he not tried.

I can say I don't think he was a great character ;-)

I didn't particularly like him. He came across as annoying and I was waiting for him to get kicked off for weeks now. He kept swinging big and seemed to miss most of the time, but that never deterred his confidence level. I loved he tried to go for the idol, but mostly because I really wanted the laugh. :p

I've learned to love those types of characters. I find them funny. I think it all really started with Angelina in DvG. She was widely hated, but I loved her. She was hilarious without intending to be. That's how Adam was this season. I think the Survivor Twitter community has really helped me view those players as comedic relief. I can say I like Adam more after watching this season than his first season.

Actually watching Adam last night was quite impressive. Basically the entire tribe was against him and Adam was holding his own in responding to criticisms and explaining why he was doing certain things. He's a smart guy.

Adam is a smart player. I think his fandom can be a liability at times, which we saw this season, but he knows the game. If that turned out to be an idol, he would have had a much different edit this season.

Anyone else not a Nick fan this season? I'm just tired of his confused looks and then getting so offended when he isn't kept in the loop.
He did the same thing in DvG. When he was blindsided by Christian, he took it very personally and got very whiny. I don't dislike Nick, but he's just a guy. There's nothing special or memorable about him. Kind of boring. There were so many more memorable and exciting players from his original season that he kind of gets forgotten.

And the Google Queen (take that, Sandra) comes to the rescue. Scroll down to Voting History.

6-2-1, Adam, Nick, Sarah.

Denise and Sarah voted for Nick.
Denise and Sarah voting for Nick must of been protection in case Adam played an idol (or podium). Leads me to believe it wasn’t a “Live” tribal. Adam was the plan all along.

I’m getting tired of all the whispering and walking around at tribal. Seems it’s just theatre now and not game play.
It was exciting at first, but now it's just frustrating. The viewer has no idea what's going on, and although I think many times it's not as "live" as it seems, it negates much of the strategy in the episode so far. As a fan, I want to have some idea of what is happening. A blindside for the sake of a blindside is not good. It's okay not to be blindsided. And I feel like many of the "blindsides" we see are actually pretty obvious to the players.
