I just found this little bif of info on a Survivor board (ok, stop laughing :lookaroun )

It's in an article from what I'm guessing is the Beaver County Times newspaper, which is where Ian is from in Pennsylvania. It seems sweet Ian was also one of the puppeteers in Tapestry of Nations at Epcot! :D

"With an eye on a performing career, he spent the summer of 2000 at Walt Disney World, where he was a parade performer who manipulated a 23-foot-tall body puppet for an estimated 750,000 guests of the Orlando amusement park."

Wonder if I saw him...now I have to go check thru my photos to see! :lookaroun

He's from Pennsy huh. Then i'd definitely like to see him win.

Thank you so much! I forgot last week and missed it. I was so mad at myself when I realized two hours too late. Thanks for the reminder

Was I the only one who watched this last nite?

I was totally feeling the Ian love last nite. I think hes replacing "old" Tom as my favorite...but that could just be because he was in Tapestry of Nations

Boy, Probst was really giving Ulong the business at Tribal Council. I don't know if he's ever been as in-your-face about the craptastic performance of another tribe. They deserve it, though. Other than Stephenie (who totally RAWKS!), the rest of that tribe is a bunch of weenies. Great season, so far. The previews for next week look very cool!

Was it me or is it just that Bobby John always seemed to lose it for them. I am glad hes off though, but wow this show is just wow now.

Bobby Jon is strong, but he doesnt play smart. I really felt badly for them though when they didnt win that icky duck egg thing. I think ANYONE who downed those gross things deserved some sort of reward! :hurl:

I think Stephenie is the most popular Survivor next to Rupert. She has played a great game. I can't believe they sent her back by herself. I thought for sure she would go to Koror for the merge after she won the challenge.

I thought the same thing. I mean are they even going to merge???

I think Steph SO deserves to win this! I dont think she will, because she will probably just be rolled into Koror. I mean, well...what are they going to do? Go to immunity challenge for a 1 on 1..Tom vs Steph .. Steph loses and goes home? However...she STILL has that little alliance with Tom and Ian so who knows what can happen :)

I was thinking the same thing. She's really tough and a great player. She just got stuck with a pretty lousy team.

And personaly, I can't stand Tom. He reminds me of someone I used to work with that was a real jerk (just in looks, not in personality.)

BTW, if the larger team was smart, they would vote Tom off as soon as they could. Once they go into individual immunity, it's going to be pretty hard to beat him. And, he could go all the way with immunity. We saw that almost happen in Season 2 with Colby who came in second to Tina.

I agree! I felt bad for Bobby Jon too. He's my sister's favorite, so she was kind of sad that he had to leave tonight. But does anyone else think that since Bobby Jon wasn't "officially" voted off, he could come back as a plot twist? I'm thinking it's a definate possibility.

I also think that when they do finally merge (assuming they will) that they'll make the big tribe (forgot their name) go to Ulong's camp.

As long as Ian can stay in there for a while, I really don't care much what happens! :D ;)

I think a merge is imminent, but the producers sent Stephenie back to camp by herself because it would make for compelling television. They'll probably make her go it alone for a day or two before announcing the merge.

I agree with all that Bobby Jon seemed like a good, strong guy, but not the sharpest knife in the drawer. To his credit, he admitted that Koror was outsmarting them in challenges.

I wish they had better footage from last week when Tom caught the shark. We didn't get to see much of it. While the shark head is a nice trophy for the camp, I agree with Coby that it attracts bugs and doesn't belong so close to their shelter.

Hmmm, maybe. But, I doubt it. I missed the CBS morning show to see if his interview was on. When they brought back people that one year, I dont' think they did the early interviews. I could be wrong though.

They still have one extra person playing, though. Remember, they started with 20 (normally it's 16). They kicked 2 out right away with the silly school yard pick your team thing. Then they had a double vote one night and got rid of one more extra person. So that still leaves 1 extra peson.

Yeah, Bobby Jon was on CBS this morning...my sister recorded the interview. They pretty much talked about what happened at Tribal Council and what was with Ulong (BJ said he screwed up by looking over at Steph during TC, and said he didn't know what happened with Ulong...mentioned maybe a black cat had been walking around on their island.) And then they just talked about how he's been in LA (I think) the past two years working on his modeling career. So who knows? I can't imagine them letting him do an interview if he was coming back, but then maybe they want it to be a huge surprise or something.
I remember when they brought those people back...the Pearl Island season, wasn't it? I don't know either if they had early interviews with them. Really the only person I cared about then was Rupert.

It was Pearl Islands, because I remember Probst saying how the Pirates had to make sure they killed their enemies because sometimes if they didnt, an enemy could come back to get revenge...and in walked Barton and..Lil was it? I hated that twist, btw

I was hoping they'd give Stephanie some sort of nightly retreat somewhere to let her clean up and eat something, since she's had such a hard time so far. I hope she sticks around and makes it to the final four.

Here is something I've missed along the way...how does Steph have an alliance with Tom and Ian? When did this happen and how? (I did miss two episodes)

How is Steph going to get to any challenges? Her and Bobby Jon barely got the boat in the water together. How is she going to do it by herself?
