Here is something I've missed along the way...how does Steph have an alliance with Tom and Ian? When did this happen and how? (I did miss two episodes)

During the first 3 days both tribes lived on the same beach. The deal must of been done then. Tom mentioned something about an alliance being made on day 2.

How is Steph going to get to any challenges? Her and Bobby Jon barely got the boat in the water together. How is she going to do it by herself?
I've been thinking the same thing. I don't have a clue how she'll do it!

It was Pearl Islands, because I remember Probst saying how the Pirates had to make sure they killed their enemies because sometimes if they didnt, an enemy could come back to get revenge...and in walked Barton and..Lil was it? I hated that twist, btw

Yup, it was Lil...I thought it might've been, but you confirmed it ;) I remember cause my family and I were outraged that she was able to come back and get as far as she did in the game. I'm still very, very happy she didn't win! I hated that twist too.

Im pretty sure they showed the 3 of them talking...when Janu was climbing the tree or something, making their deal. Now, I dont know if Tom and Ian are being a little presumptuous that if Steph does merge into Koror she will still be willing to agree to that alliance, or if she sees how strong Tom and Ian are and will be more than willing to go with it. Whatever she chooses, I hope she goes FAR!

I hope they still have an alliance with her too. They've been my favorite three, but I'm afraid since all three are so strong they'll be targeted as soon as their is a merge. How many are left at this point? I was trying to think of the members left and I can't remember all of the ones on Tom and Ians team. I wish for once the strong players would actually win. The players who deserve to be there, but they're usually the first to go on mergers, not always but most of the time.

The one girl doesn't seem to lift a finger. It's funny, I saw her on the last show and thought...who's that??? I do remember an interview with Mark Burnett and he said that before someone gets voted out, you'll usually see a lot of them on a couple of shows before they're voted out, unless it's a popular player like Rupert. I've tried to watch this time and see if that's true. So far it seems that way. Has anyone else noticed that? Oh...and usually when someone says they Definately can do this or that, then we know they're going to fail!! (Remembers James Famous Knot tying)

Goofette - There are 9 contestants left: Koror (Tom, Ian, Gregg, Coby, Katie, Janu, Caryn, Jen) and Ulong (Steph). I agree that it would be nice for a strong person to win, and I would love for that to be Steph.

As for the woman who doesn't seem to be doing much (blonde, 30-ish), that's Jen. I think she's had all of five minutes of screen time this season.

Also, I agree that Mark Burnett loves nothing more than to have someone claim to be the expert at something, then proceed to fail miserably. Ah, delicious irony: the cornerstone of Survivor editing.

I heard they know what their favorite foods are in order to tempt them like that. I would purpously tell them the wrong foods so I wouldnt be tempted to chuck it all for a Hershey bar...

He deserved to go on stupidity. Throw away a chance at a Mil over a couple of donuts ? Then again Tom was the only smart one. Food over immunity ? I dont think so.

Totally agree. I couldn't believe Steph jumped!
Coby shot himself in the foot. He didn't play smart. He kept causing trouble. I knew he was it after that!

The last two weeks have been exciting. Tom and Ian willing to go to a tie-breaker to get rid of Gregg, then convincing Katie at the last minute to vote with them. Then, this week, Ian stupidly chooses Tom to go on the Reward with him, rather than Katie. Luckily for them, they convinced Katie and Jenn to boot Caryn. They didn't show us the scene where it was decided that Caryn would go - but when she was so outspoken at tribal council it was clear to me that she knew she was going home. Caryn was not in their original alliance, and I seem to remember from earlier shows that she was not the most pleasant person to live with. Thus, torch snuffed.

Final Four: Ian, Jenn, Katie, Tom.

If Ian, Katie, and Tom are smart, they'll boot the likable Jenn. It doesn't seem like Jenn has angered anyone. After that, Ian has to lose the final immunity. If he wins it, how does he decide between Katie and Tom who to take to the final two? I get the impression he's promised both of them. So, Tom wins the final immunity and boots Katie.

Final Two and jury votes:

Ian - Caryn, Jenn, Katie
Tom - Coby, Janu, Steph, Gregg

Tom wins.

I have to agree with you on that. I think Tom will win. But with your voting, don't you think Gregg and Jenn will vote for the same person since they were together a lot of the time.

Ian and Tom have done great, but Tom really deserves to win this one. As I stated in a different thread, I already see Tom as a hero in my books because of him being a NYC firefighter. I have so much respect for firefighters, so he's already won in my book!

Makes sense, but I'll throw Caryn's vote to Tom, Jenn to Tom, making it a 6-1 win for Tom. I don't see why Caryn would ever vote for Ian.

I'm still baffled that Ian took Tom. He was scrambling the entire rest of the show.

*knows who the final two are* :lookaroun

Personally, I think Caryn shot herself in the foot at Tribal Council. She mouthed off angrily, and thats always the kiss of death.

I read an article on CNN.com today about Tom. Everyone said what a good player he was. Coby wouldnt give Tom that though, because, as he said, everyone followed him around like they were mice and he was a big hunk of cheese. I would love for them to have like, CobyCam and have a little square showing Cobys reactions at the final TC because hes so animated and funny hes a show in himself! He was actually posting on a Survivor board I read until CBS nicely requested that he stop till after the final TC.

I've become disinterested in the show over the course of the season. My favorite is still Ian, and I still hope he wins. But even if he doesn't, I'm glad he's made it to the final 4! Go Ian! :sohappy:

I'm so glad they got Caryn off of there! I've never liked her.

An interesting tidbit about this Survivor I just learned.

At the end of the season Steph will have been to every single tribal council. Never before has that been done.

That is interesting, I had never thought of that before, but I guess Steph has been there every time.

Everyone remember the Finale is on Sunday....I've missed the end of shows before when it was moved to a different night for the finale. I hope I remember it by the time Sunday gets here :lookaroun

I don't really like any of the people left.

I can't stand Tom. I do not think a lot of people on tribal council will vote for him. Hopefully they finally realize that he was strong arming everyone just like Coby said when he got kicked off.

This has to be the stupidist cast ever. Every time they could kick out the strongest contestants they never did. They are too worried about being friends and Tom or Ian are probably going to win because of that.

I guess I want Katie to win, even though I don't like her very much.

One thing is for sure.... IAN is the WORST LIAR EVER!!

He was jabbering away so dazed and confused that he started sounding like those dolphins he trains for a living!

Shame on those girls for not voting the men off when they had the chance... TWICE! What were they thinking???

Thank goodness Caryn finally got the boot. She was stupid and annoying...traits nobody survives ANYWHERE with!

In a surprise twist, the final two will be Katie and Ian.
Katie will get the most votes and take home the prize.

Should be a good show Sunday!
